The guy that I’m in a relationship with since 2 years said that he won’t marry me till his parents approve of our marriage. When I heard this I feel too sad coz I left my home for 6 months once retaliating against my parents for this guy and that time this guy was saying me that his parents will easily accept me but that’s not true as he expected. I feel too bad when he said me “You should not feel you have invested a lot in me if things go wrong” when I asked him what’s “things go wrong” - he said it means breakup. My parents have accepted him. His is against due to intercaste.

why bother getting married? actually, why bother with the dude in the first place? why does he need approval? being on a break before deciding to get engaged is a red flag, waving right in front of your face that you are somehow not seeing.
