For you who are female and married, what do you think are the best parts about being a wife, before and after children?

I know people interested in me so I think getting married would be a real possibility for me.

Best parts before:

- being able to eat at a restaurant peacefully with my husband and actually have a conversation with him

-going out together and buying stuff for eachother

-going to the movies together

-having the ability to conversate with eachother

-when I am sad I can go to my husband and he makes me feel better

After:

- being able to hold my baby and feel his skin is the BEST feeling in the world for me

- being able to do things as a family such as going to an amusement park or the aquarium

- together watching your child grow and become curious about the world.

-creating traditions with my husband for the holidays and watching our children enjoy it and bring excitement

-seeing our children smile when they see my husband and I together

-hearing our children say "mom" and "dad"

- watching our children grow up and knowing that when they are gone, we still will have eachother and we won't be alone.

Before our daughter, the best part was being able to do whatever we wanted with each other at any time. As a mom, the best part is being able to get a night out with my husband and just reconnecting with him. Being a wife is awesome before AND after having a kid.

Before children: marrying my best friend. Him chasing me around the house. spontaneity. sex whenever & wherever,. being able to plan a romantic weekend & just go. having money to do little extra things. having only he & I to take care of.

After children: the bond we cement the day our child is born. Sharing raising our kids. Seeing him in our kids. Falling in love with him as a Dad (& his Dad bod 🤣) Sharing stolen moments together when the kids are gone or asleep. Growing old with him. When it's been a long day & I have sweat pants on with finger paint smears, a t-shirt with baby spit up on it, hair up in a rats nest that was once a cute messy bun at 7am, I'm half soaked after giving baths to all the kids & they've had a snack, teeth brushed, pj's on, story read, tucked in & ate asleep, dishes washed, leftovers put away, his coffee set up for the morning, his & kids lunches packed & look & smell like "oh damn!" and he still holds me kisses me passionately & finds me sexy
