I believe that marriage is the ideal situation for the vast majority of people. Unfortunately, the state of marriage laws in most Western countries have made marriage non-viable for men, as they are heavily skewed towards women and incentivize women to destroy their husbands via divorce.

This was absolutely intentional, as these laws were written and pushed for by Marxist Feminist leaders whose goal was to destroy relationships between men and women and thus severely weaken western culture and sow chaos in western countries. And men were convinced that they were merely supporting "equality" by going along with it, so men aren't blameless either.

Going at life alone gets increasingly harder as you get older, and tons of people who think today that they will be fine alone won't be.

"Marxist feminist" there's a word salad with the fingerprints of MAGA all over it!

I use that term because most people are unaware that Marxists forcibly took over the Feminist movement in the early 60s - in the form of the Red Stockings. Ever since then, all of the Feminist leaders have been proud Marxists, and while they rarely admitted it publicly in the 70s and 80s, since the 90s, they have been pretty open about it.

These are the women whose articles were published in the media (women's magazines especially, but also in college coursework), and who were brought on TV whenever big Feminist issues were in the media. These women quite literally set the agendas and policies of the movement, and all of the Women's Studies departments followed right along.

Several prominent women in the movement in the early 60s have written books about being pushed out of the leadership because they would not get on board the Marxist train - this isn't any big secret. Most people are just ignorant about it because they know it doesn't look good to non-true believers.

I believe in marriage and living separately. I believe this because I have been married for 20 years and sleep in the bathroom and my aunt had the happiest marriage I have ever seen and they lived 100 miles apart

Living together out of wedlock is what they call a common law marraige. It's marraige without the recognition of church or state.

Men risk too much by marrying in today's gynocentric society. I would recommend a covenant marriage without the state involved.

@Shelly2002 in the eyes of everyone who matters she's a wife, just not to the state and the courts.

But no proposal right? If not the state nor courts, how about church?
If not by church either, then she's going to rely on a man's words and believe in his ''my wife'' speech, when she's just girlfriend?

@Shelly2002 there is still a proposal, ceremony in front of family and friends, exchange of rings and vows, and a wedding reception. The only difference is no one signs any paperwork.

that's fine, as long as there is some type of public recognition that she's a wife
