Oh goodness, this is going to sound so Random, but it's factors that exists... we have become so liberal and so inclusive, that we tend to ignore the Risks and potential factors that might be unajustable to others. Especially when it comes to intermarriage and Cultural factors.

it's not only about out of race... sometimes the same race but different countries or religions...
the rest... is the matter of setting boundaries
I always knew that living with my or his parents won't happen. So we informed everyone interested in stuff long before we got married. Whatever is about the marriage should be decided by married people, not their parents, aunts, or other relatives...
I'd like to think that I can stand my ground against in-laws & other relatives. The other cultural stuff is fine. I'm sorta into different cultures. I'd still have my own identity & culture, too. Just so you know, this is all coming from a guy that never wants to be married ever, but if I was into it, this is how I think I'd feel.
i don't get it. All these are nothing new, or liberal or inclusive.
It's basically an attempt to use the complexities of reality- it's downright dishonest to pretend that cultural differences will impose NO difficulties on a relationship- to justify subtle opposition to interethnic marriages.
