Hey guys I need some help here. My ex has a birthday in a few days should I text her happy birthday? I was afraid if she didn't respond it. But I want to start talking with her again and maybe in this way I can win her heart again. I'm so confused on what to do. Please help me..

I say tell her happy birthday because you care. But, don't have hope. There's a reason you broke up. As for winning her heart, if she receives the messages well and responds, then you can answer back. Don't be pushy and give her her space. It's really difficult. I'm in it now.

Ask how she's been, what's new. Start off slow. You can add in how you miss her or good memories with her, how you feel a little. But don't be too direct or pushy, it might scare her. I think you should just start off with normal conversation and you'll see how it goes from there. Oh yeah, if she replies when you text her happy bday, you can say you want to catch up. Definitely wish her a happy birthday. Regardless of how she might respond and setting aside your history, it is the polite thing to do. Plus, it will show her that you care, and even if the feeling isn't mutual, she wants you to care about her.
