Giving my friend/crush a Valentine's gift?

So, i've been liking this girl for some time, i'm 17 by the way. And i told her, and she rejected me cause she wasn't ready for a relationship, cause her previous was terrible, which i knew so. We are now 3months further and we've been talking quite a lot lately, it's just in public that we get kinda awkward. Now i've been thinking about buying her something for valentine, please give your opinions :D?

yeah i think you should definitely buy her something. she could look at it like your just a friend who appreciates her or she could see it as a hint that you are still thinking about her. i mean either way isn't bad. get her something like dove chocolate because those chocolates in the heart boxes are disgusting and some flowers or a card.

I would make it something thoughtful and not necessarily expensive. Even some flowers are a good thing. You don't want to get carried away and scare her off.
