Open up a separate account with Citibank. It's all online, free and they accept scans of paychecks.

Paypal, Venmo are two that I can think of off the top of my head. Venmo being able to get a debit card. Paypal I think is a credit card if I remember correctly.
Wht are cheques still a thing in the US? Nowhere in (western) Europe uses them anymore.
