Is it ok to just keep buying a box of chocolates for all my friends?

I’m really hard up and just got a new, rewarding but low paying job. I spend hundreds on travel, a week because I don’t drive; and I have no money basically. Is it ok to buy all my friends but 2, boxes of cheap chocolates for birthdays and Christmas from now on? The other 2 live overseas. So I can’t.

It means those chocolates with the cherry inside, suck, and not in a good way. And while we're on the subject, does anyone actually eat those bricks they call "fruit cakes" or do they just re-gift them back to you the next year? I be no one has even taken the wrapper off of one.

Mrs. Snow likes me to eat those chocolate cherries. I cannot say more here. Well, I could probably post it as a question and then it would be acceptable, but, well...

As for fruit cakes, I can't regift my coworkers... what's that? Oh! You meant fruit cakes. Yeah, no. I put them in the yard for squirrels and birds.

I lived in an area where the slugs were very well hung. They ate my beautiful flowers in one night. On the Olympic Peninsula, slugs eat more vegetation than elk. So I started chucking them in the street so the crows would eat them.

Mr. Crow: Gummy, these taste like shit. Don't you have any fruitcake?

So I did a bit of Googling. It turns out that slugs love beer, but they get drunk and drown in it.

My cousin Brian had two basset hounds. Fred and Fanny. They drank beer with him. True story. And, you'll never guess which southern capital he lived in with a really busy airport? They'd eat SEATAC's lunch for breakfast.

As for vegetation, my mom was in the New York Times for trying to save deer one year. Proudest moment of her life.

Mom was awesome with the deer. And raccoons. And not a lot else.

Raccoons have a mean streak, and they have a pecking order. When I put out a box of Fruit Loops, the boss raccoon ate first. The other raccoons stayed their distance. But squirrels were my favorite.
They would grab their peanut, and then look both ways, and then attempt to hide it in the grass. Yeah, good idea, like no other squirrels will ever find it in the grass. Then when they came back for another peanut, I could see another squirrel finding the one in the grass. They never figured out that hiding things in open sight was a bad idea. At least climb up a tree and hide it!

My deer friends just liked slices of bread. Just plain, with nothing on it. At least the skunks liked peanut butter and ice cream, like normal people.
