I have gotten people selection boxes this year and feel like it’s a rubbish present
1 ySome people (like me) are not good at picking out gifts. Chocolate is something that almost everyone likes, even if it's not as personal as some other gifts. I think it's a good safe gift that isn't taking much of a chance like most other gifts. A more personal gift might be better, but I think not many people are good at picking out a personal gift, which makes it chancy.
It's definitely not "rubbish".00 Reply

1 yIt wouldn't be a good present for me because I could eat the whole box in about 2 minutes. I can't have any sweets around because I can't stop eating them, especially chocolate!
But I don't see why it's a bad present for someone else. Why is it a "rubbish" present? I think some people would really like it.

Anonymous(18-24)1 yIt's a nice gesture and little fill-in gifts are difficult for people to figure out. Some people just have a gift for it. Take it in good spirits and give it to someone else if you don't want it.

1 yLol it really is. Giving someone a box of chocolates is like giving them life, you never know what you are gonna get!
I'll still eat them all ^^'

1 yI love it!
It is delicious, doesn’t take up space (since you eat it), and if you don’t like a flavor give it to a family member & eat the ones you know you’ll like.

1 yLindor truffles or Ghirardelli are better in my opinion, but See's are acceptable.
Protip: give them a bottle of a bigger red wine to accompany it for maximum effect.

If you don't want your chocolate boxes, feel free to send them my way. 😉00 ReplyI think it's a nice gift. They can put it out when guests come over. I love gifts like that. I think you did a good job.

00 ReplyI'd gladly have chocolates for a gift. I'd avoid the dollar store ones, but a nice box always seems to be appreciated.
00 ReplyDepends on the person in question. Not a good choice if its just going to be left uneaten until it spoils.
You'd be better off giving a large box of protein bars to some people.

Christmas used to be really stressful in my family, then we all decided to end the present stuff. Now it's fun. I'm invited to my brother's for Christmas. There's a gas station on the way that has a sign that says: "Premium wine. 3 bottles for ten bucks." Is it OK for me to bring some premium wine?
nope
