Anyone else find this suggestion of a mother's day gift hilarious 😂 ?

My friend (and complicated) and I went looking for gifts for his nosy, often hurtful and clueless that she's hurtful - often unapologetic mother.

This was an idea he suggested comically.

The wording however to us seems hilarious. Could this really be a subtle way to tell her she needs to take a step back from her son's life?

Would it work on someone who dasn't get it when it's not subtle?

I hope it makes others chuckle.

* She's not a bad person but we do have a lot of struggles with her and being heard by her. Her son's an adult but she still allows him no boundaries or respect which often involves me. She goes through his things (utterly everything) judges even good things, takes over his house every time she visits. Has a sluth of opinions about me and about us. We've tried to explain to her the need for boundaries and privacy but it never gose well.

Nor changes anything.

After the last time we tried she glared at me with such hatred simply because I sided with her son. Like I was taking her place. Which I get is a feeling some mothers have but it is so hard to address the matter with her. We have tried many times it always ends in her acting wounded and mad and the next day she continues her excessiveness and disregard of her son's life/needs - and me.

Yep she can be very stubborn and judmental and mean. She very much dasn't seem to like me. She often holds me accountable for the actions of his ex. Sometime a blind man could tell I'm nothing like.
Still what can we do, at least she isn't as horrible as my mother! 😂

Yeah we were just joking we got her something nicer we just found it amusing granting our personal experiences and I thought others would get a chuckle too.
