I’ve always said that everyday of February is my bday. We celebrated my grandpas bday recently and of course I made the day about myself as well. I bought a cake for “us”. We had a cookout for “us”. I went shopping for “us”. Lol. I just ordered so many clothes and shoes fck. At first I just wanted to get my grandpa some new boots and maybe a new pair of kicks for me. I offered to get my dude some work boots too since his are toe up from the flo up. Like his heel is literally flopping, but its something special about those flappy bastards that he just won’t let em go. Sucks cause a guy’s shoe game is everything!! Plus my dude got the nerve to try to stop me from shopping as if he isn’t playing “pimp my ride”, “pimp my plane”, and “pimp my toolbox” every dang day. He’s spent waaaay more than me. We’re a mess lol. Anyways, I then decided to buy lingerie for Vday just to shut him up, but I don't know i just kept adding more and more shit to the cart. I blew a whole check 😭 I miss frugal me. #FeelFreeToList
I’ve been pretty good lately. When Black Friday/Cyber Monday come around, THAT’S when I ball out, to cover most of the next year. “Full price is for suckers”, that’s my motto, haha. Love to shop, hate paying money, but you start talking 60-70%, NOW I’m really listening. I’m tryna have a full closet of clothes and shoes, mostly bought at a deep discount. You ever read a fashion magazine and they detail each piece of the model’s outfit, and give the price? One of my favorite things is to get dressed, then count up what the outfit is worth at cost, vs what I actually paid. I love knowing I have $1,500 worth of clothes on me that I paid $400 for, haha.
So…the rest of the year is mostly clearance rack shopping. Sometimes I’ll need shorts or other summery things not available in November, so I’ll buy those, but the majority of my shopping is done already. I need to save my money because every time a hockey stick breaks, I gotta drop like $350 on another one…and it’s tough to get those on significant sale, and at the exact specifications you want, haha. Black Friday rolls around and it’s like “Cyber Week Blowout! Save $20 on this almost $400 stick!”🤦♂️😂

Girl I feel you, when the shopping bug hits it can be hard to stop! But don't feel too bad, sounds like everyone's been treating themselves lately.
And look at it this way - you found all sorts of cute stuff for the birthday boy *cough cough yourself cough*, plus your man and grandpa got some treats too. Ain't nothing wrong with spoiling the fam on a special day.
Plus it's basically every day of February for you, so think of it like little presents to yourself over the month! Spread out the cost that way and it ain't so bad.
And I totally get how it starts small like "oh just some boots" then all of a sudden your cart's full haha. That's half the fun though right?
Don't stress too much over it sis, you work hard and deserve to treat yo'self sometimes. Just try not to go too crazy again till next payday lol. And hey, at least you got the hubs some sexy lingerie for V-day too - now that's how you do retail therapy right!
Keep slaying in those new fits girl, you earned em! #RetailTherapyAtItsFinest
I shop online so much that stuff arrives at my doorstep and I have no idea what it is.

I always shop impulsively lol
my thing right now is impulsively buying concert tickets. But that’s because I regret it every single time I don’t go. Like I literally shed tears the day of the Beyonce concert cause I didn’t go lmaoooo
so now I’m just like “fuck it” and I’m gonna go to any concert I please.
Concert tickets are just so expensive nowadays. Even for nose bleeds you’re gonna have to pay $150 per ticket. And I’m a picky bitch when it comes to my seats. I don’t always need front row but If im gonna be all the way in the back, I’d rather not go at all. So I’ve been paying a pretty penny for a lot of concerts.
Last concert I went to was Doja Cat. They were $850 for 2 tickets a few rows from the front.and I just paid $730 for Justin Timberlake tickets.
I'm not a huge spender and shopper honestly. But sometimes. I did just buy two new games because they were both on huge sales even though I don't necessarily have the time. Oops but for me that is rare. I'm told I can spend more on myself than I do.
i have spent to much when i left my old job i had $26,000 saved up now only $6,000. took me years to save it up & i was only able to save it up as i worked 60 hours a week every week for 3 or 4 summer years when i was full time at pool company.
but i have been living off the money since march 2023 .
I wouldn't say impulsively but definitely more than I usually do as of late... I think when I get a little stressed i start buying more things but it's generally things like new expensive fountain pens, shoes and gym gear
I do it a lot of tjx stores. Or tkmaxx in the UK. I don’t need anything but I like spending money.
I don't think I've ever done that in my entire life. I'm about as impulsive about shopping as I'm impulsive about changing diapers.
I took my sister impulse shopping yesterday and she bought a car lol.
No. I tend not to spend except birthdays and Christmas. I also have purchased some candy on occasion or lottery, but nothing that makes me unable to pay for incidentals.
Normally yes. Although this year one of my goals is being more fiscally responsible so I've been good lately. Mainly waste money on cannabis and shoes. This yr I've been sticking to my budget 😌
Buying for someone is a nice gesture, but you should always take social survival into budget and cap yourself off when you hit that. I tend to shop a lot on temu but i limit myself of how much i spend per month.
That hasn't been a day I haven't shopped impulsilvely
Omg yes. Been shopping like crazy plus I got a cruise coming up
No, I never impulse shop. Today I bought my wife a valentine. I have been thinking about it for a while.
.
I haven't. If anything, I've been shopping less lately. But I wanna go shopping for a bew jacket. I just don't know what to buy.
I never do that
money doesn't grow on trees
Yes îve been
sometime i don’t but anything during months and others i blow all my money
Yes, help me. It started in the Christmas sales and hasn't stopped!
Unfortunately, yes. And I expect it to get worse before it gets better. 🤔😉😳
I've been buying far too much junk food recently. All of it impulsive.
