Is a Costco or Sam’s Club membership really worth it for couples?

My wife and I go to BJs which is similar. We pay an annual membership cost. We usually go once a month and stock up on paper goods, toiletries , and get good buys on eggs, milk, and produce we always buy Thanksgiving turkey there.. I have bought TVs and laptops there and other stuff.

You save money. I have a Costco membership and you get much more for less in the long run.




However, certain things I still buy from regular grocery stores due to shelf life. The best example of this being produce. If you buy produce from Costco it’ll likely go bad by the time you’re done eating all of it. Which is a waste

Sure. Our Costco saves the fee in a few tanks of gas. We also use the hearing aid department for my wife and most of their paper and home products, and their hot dogs and snacks.
