What do you consider a fair tip for a pizza delivery driver?

I am currently delivering pizza part time for some extra cash since I am dealing with nonsense in my life at this time , and I have been receiving some really nice tips From people but of course I run into cheap asses as well. When I order pizza for myself I usually tip the driver 5 or more dollars depending on where they are coming from , if they are close
To my house I usually give 5 but if they are coming far I will slip them 10 bucks , some of my customers tip me 20 to 30 bucks depending on their order and then I got customers that tip a dollar or 2 because they are cheap asses , with the price of gas prices today it pisses me off that people are that cheap. It’s like don’t order food for delivery if you can’t tip your driver decent. But it is what it is I guess.

My dad usually picks it up. If it is a last minute thing and one of us orders for delivery, we do it based on distance. I never remember handing the driver less than $7.50 for the closer places and $12 for the ones further away.

The issue here is even if it isn't far, our road network around the lake is crazy complicated and with summer tourists, they are crazy busy. So we tip drivers to make it worth it. If you do then you get prompt and good service. Worth an extra few bucks for that.

I have only ever been to one of the Great Lakes when my family went to Chicago. The lake I live by is tiny by comparison.

Well I always tip the pizza dude $40 a tip. I rather help a guy then to give my mom to a greedy pastor all pastors are hypocreates. Same thing about yard sales I rather go to a yard sale help someone then to shop at Goodwill or should a say Greedywill yes Goodwill must change it's name to Greedywill after how I found out the way they treat their empleyes not only that they get all their merchandise for free. Same thing ifnI go out and eat at a restaurante I give $50 tip to the staff. I dont pay church tithing I set the 10 porcent of my check and used that money for tip instead. Yeah I dont give my money to the church because I know well that pastors used it for a living.

It depends on each place and country...
Here the delivery fee is previously printed on the bill with the pizza's price but you can surely leave the delivery guy more if you want to...

Usually about the equivalent as your currency, about a 5 dollar or 10 dollar tip.

We always hit 25% on the app when we get it delivered. Usually, that’s like $10 or so dollars for our orders.

Even or local pizza place has an online for ordering where you can add a tip like that.

We can also type it in, but 25% for how much we order averages probably $14. I’ve never seen below ten and on some big ones for a group, it is $25 or so.

Before you call them tight asses, maybe it's a single mom who wants her kids to have a pizza but she can't afford to be a big tipper, she just doesn't have a lot of extra money. Does that mean they don't deserve a pizza?

I base mine on the speed or arrival and how decent and friendly they are. I also consider the time and weather as well. I start at 5 and it goes up.

In Europe people dont tip. there is a service charge of optional 10%. you can ask to remove it if you want. i went to a restaurant that had 3 extra service charges.
