How to tell if a girl is blowing you off?

When girls decline your offer to hang out do they just add lines like maybe next week or suggest another time to sound nice?

I asked a girl to hang out but said she's busy and suggested another time when she's available. So I thought it was genuine and said let's meet then but she bailed that day saying that she's not feeling well.

I'm confused because I get the feeling that she's not interested but then why would you suggest another time in the first place? Why don't they just say sorry but I'm really busy so I don't think I could hang out and end it at that?

Just wondering what are some signs of blow off

We're both students so I know she's busy and when she bailed she did sound like she was sorry and said next week for sure. But I just replied it's okay and no response from her since. Definitely seems like a blow off but just confused because based on my experience with her, she really didn't seem like the type to blow off people in that manner.

I'm sorry that happened to you :/. I would say that in general if people suggest another time they're interested, but the fact that it didn't work out twice doesn't look good. Don't text her anymore, and if she's sincere about wanting to hang out with you, she will text you. In the mean time, open yourself up to other options! That way, you can create opportunities for someone else, and maybe make her realize her mistake in the process. Good luck!

I mean if she declined twice, then yes it's a blow off. If she says that she is too busy then make arrangements for a time to meet up because it's convenient then just so happen to come up sick (so she says) on the day of the event, then she isn't that interested in hanging out.

To be honest, I wouldn't ask anymore.

While she could legitimately be busy and have a reason for canceling, doing so twice in a row isn't a good sign or a good impression of her. I'd move on. If she comes around and asks to hang out again, great..but don't bet on it.

If she suggests another time you're likely not being blown off unless she ditches for the reschedule too.

You let HER initiate the next hang out. If she doesn't she's not interested. If she does it's all good :)
