This month has been surprisingly difficult in terms of finding new music. It could be because of changes in my life (not working as late so I don't listen to the late night DJ on my favourite radio channel) or there hasn't been many new releases! Some of these songs, you may recognise and others, not so much but as always, I hope you enjoy them and your Summer! :)
Major Lazer & DJ Snake - Lean On
I've been a listener of Major Lazer for some time now, so it's nice to see them get into the spotlight with such a great song!
Fetty Wap - Trap Queen
I usually don't like songs like this, but Fetty's unique appearance and voice got my attention and now I'm hooked. I recommend "Again" and "My Way" too.
Natalie La Rose - Somebody ft. Jeremih
Taylor Swift - Bad Blood ft. Kendrick Lamar
I'm not a huge fan of Taylor Swift but I really got into this song and its lyrics, the first time I heard it on the radio, so it must be good. ;) It's accompanied by a pretty badass music video too!
The Game - Ali Bomaye ft. 2 Chainz, Rick Ross (Explicit)
Some of you gamers out there may recognise this one from GTAV! It's been stuck in my head all day. "Ali Bomaye!"
Jason Derulo - Want To Want Me
When I first heard this, I thought it was Adam Levine. Jason Derulo didn't spring to mind but that could be because he's been out of the spotlight for some time. This song is his great return!
Martin Garrix ft. Usher - Don't Look Down
I do like this one and the video basically says, you need to be magic to get the girl you want, but even that might not work! But hey, "don't look down"! ;)
LunchMoney Lewis - Bills
This guy is either going to be a one hit wonder (he's kind of restricted himself with that stage name) or one to watch. It's certainly catchy and relatable.
Galantis - Runaway (U & I)
These guys have an unusual image, but they produce good tunes and that's all that matters!
Benny Benassi - Satisfaction (RL Grime Remix)
I discovered this a couple of hours ago. They've worked the original song quite well, I know I'll be listening to this into June!
