My 10 years of Trolling legacy.

I've passed a milestone in my life. Reported...Banned...blocked...insulted...After 10 years...its all part of the Trolling game.

The first time I got full access at home on the internet I became a Troll. The computer became like a shield and it felt good to say anything without people knowing who i am or if i really meant what I said.

It all started on Habbo hotel. Back in the day Habbo Hotel was fun. Blocking entrance ways…getting into fights…gangs…dates…dancing and simply bothering anyone was so fun. I was kicked from rooms and banned for not following the rules. Despite being an annoying user I wasn’t aware of the term Troll until my later years.

I’d make multiple accounts and simply bother anyone with it.

After 2 years of habbo hotel things were getting boring, I was growing and needed a new place to troll. I found Yahoo answers. Making fun of Christians and religious people was my strength. I got plenty of thumbs down which I loved. Obviously after getting suspended over 7 times, I needed to find a new place to troll.

I roamed Topix for about a year causing chaos. Not as fun, but it was decent. I was off and on with yahoo answers during that time. Eventually I’d find a site called Sodahead. Sodahead is the true playground for trolling it has politics, dating, sports and insecure people. It had everything a Troll could dream of. I started a lot of fun wars on that site. This one argument I had I was trolling old ladies that believed in santa clause.

That site made me hate Mods because they were always stuck up, abusive, bullies. Say anything about them and they will swarm you…which I loved. At the same time it was annoying. I pissed a lot of people off. As soon as I said something about a very popular mod I got booted.

It was cool because I needed a break from trolling since I was getting stale. I returned to yahoo news making childish comments…because of the ads and bad articles I didn’t stay long on that site. I took about 2-3 years off from trolling heavily.

I Had a very light troll run in the batman section on Comicvine. As I hate batman, I’d make threads that would piss on batman. Many batman fans didn’t like that.

Eventually I found Disqus. I took use of it mostly with Wrestlezone making fun of wrestling fans and etc. then that got boring.

I made my gag account in 2012-13. I wasn't active until May 2015. When I returned in 2015 the people of GAG were asking to be trolled. Despite not getting many thumbs down, I’ve actually been able to create a bad rep on this site. Any attention is good attention and I’ve used it all to my advantage.

So after 10 years of trolling within the 10 years I did feel like quitting trolling. Going onto websites and playing by the rules to me always got really boring. If I can’t spark any childish reaction or hate then I’m not having fun. I have no interest in making internet friends, I’ve tried it and the only time I have something to say is when I’m trolling.

I noticed that When I say something positive I never get as much as attention compared to when I state a troll response.

For me trolling has its limits.

My rules are No Pming user unless they PM me. No threats unless I make a threat that makes no sense. No mom or family insults. No hacking. No invading personal info.

As a Troll boundaries sometimes need to be pushed in order to get a reaction or to start a new phase or to test people. At the same time I’m still very careful at what I say.

As a veteren Troll I know what to say and how to say it in order to get a reaction.

The things I dislike about trolling it’s addictive and when you insult someone and they comeback being all nice. Most of the time when they respond with a sincere comment after I’ve insulted them, I can’t help myself but respond with a sincere comment if they really need help.

The ways you can beat me in trolling is responding sincerely. If you are going to respond aggressively then that means you’re playing my game.

So after 10 long years of trolling and not giving a damn It’s been a pleasure.

But what have I learned?

I learned 3 simple things.

  1. Someone will care what you have to say

  2. Someone will always be offended from what you have to say

  3. People will believe everything you say even if what you wrote made no sense.

Why do I troll?

Because I’m good and bad at it and its fun. I seek attention. If I’m always getting fed why would I stop? Trolling helps pass the time and I get to try out different personalities.

Many people think and say I have no life despite finishing HS, college, owning 2 cars, working, slept with my fair share of babes and having extra leisure time. All I got to say to that is can play 2 sides of a coin.

As a Troll I have to expect getting ignored and producing unsuccessful crafts. Failing is part of the game and getting back up to fail again is what makes Trolling fun.

No forum is free from trolling.
