As you know, everyone has his own habits, repetitive stuff we do almost without realizing it.
A lot of things tend to become habits. If you do something often, it becomes a habit and you tend to lose or lessen your feelings towards this activity. This is often avoided, especially in couple life but this loss of feelings can become a real weapon if used correctly.
Many people have told me how they would like to workout regularly but they can't hold the rythm. The key to that is... HABITS! Make that a habit! You hate washing dishes? Do it regularly for a little while and it will just become a habit and you will do it without it bothering you that much.
As I mentionned, one of the best use of this power is for workout, if you want to maintain a bit of physical fitness without too much hassle, you can do a simple short exercise at a given time. For example, I chose to do as many push ups as I can in a single row before hitting the shower and I am now doing it mechanically, whether I am tired, sick or just normal (unless I'm extremely sick or wounded of course). It's only taking me 2-3 minutes but it's worth it.

However, power comes at a cost: when you try to make something a habit, it will still bother you at first so you have to hold on at all costs. Motivation is your best ally here, think of all the benefits you will get for making this a habit. Take push ups of example, sure it's a bit tough, but you're strengthening your biceps, pecs, shoulders, abs, back and you'll get better muscle definition as an added bonus.
The hardest part here is to get the motivation to start and to actually DO IT! I'd say, if you can hold a habit for some weeks, I'd say you've won. So listen to Shia Labeouf!
Remember, habits are weapons: better have them on your side than against them. Now that you have the key to these weapons, make good use of them!
