now child abuse comes in all forms. These parents are hurting their children, not in conventional ways but nevertheless are doing serious harm to their children. In some cases, they may even genuinely love their children and are trying to help them and raise them but the fact remains that their actions are doing harm to their children.
The Anderson Family only eats red meat, including their young children

I've no doubt that Joe and Charlene Anderson genuinely love their young children and are trying to raise them right. Nevertheless their actions specifically their diet is INCREDIBLY harmful. You see the Anderson's only eat beef. Not as in beef with every meal, as in the only food they eat is beef. Their kids have been eating beef as soon as they could take solid food.

According to Joe there was a period when his children became interested in other foods but it was only a phase. Now the reason this fits the definition of Child Abuse is because of the damage this will do to their children's bodies. The human body needs many nutrients to survive and if a person only eats beef they are setting themselves and their children up to a host of different ailments brought about my malnutrition such as scurvy and when their children's teeth can start falling out and start bleeding from the gums when they have the means to prevent it is child abuse, not in the form that we know commonly but child abuse none the less. Now its quite possible that they are lying to gain media attention, which is doing mental harm to their children in the way in the way that they are raising them. I hope, that they are lying because at least then it means that they aren't in danger of things like scurvy.
So either they are lying to the media to gain attention which is really setting a truly terrible example to your children and hurting them developmentally, or they are actually doing this and causing physical harm to their children.
