The Months Of The Year: From My Least Favorite, To My Favorite

Of course this applies for people who live in the northern hemisphere. In the southern hemisphere things are different.

12) January

The worst month of the year. Not only it’s miserable when you take off the Christmas decoration, but it’s also the coldest month of the year by far. Is there any good in January?

11) November

November is also pessimistic, but it’s less cold than January. It’s bad for two reasons though. It’s the beginning of a long cold winter, and it’s also the month with the smallest daytime.

10) December

Although December is colder than November, Christmas make up for it, at least.

9) March

Last among the winter months, and you know that summer comes closer and closer. But bad thing is, March seems to be the longest month of the year.

8. February

Another one of the bad months of the year, but it’s the best of the winter months mostly because of Valentine’s Day. Also daytime becomes bigger and bigger by then.

7) September

September used to be my most hated month of the year when I was going to school, because summer holidays were over. Now it’s more like an extension of the summer, still I don’t like the fact that summer starts to fade away.

6) October

Weather is still decent by October, but I put this month above September because it’s the month of my Birthday. And because of Halloween it gets an extra point too.

5) August

August seems to be a little bit more miserable than June and July, because everyone is leaving for holidays. Still the heat is strong which is a good thing.

4) July

July means…beach, pools, water parks, frozen cocktails and hot summer nights. Only a fool would choose to stay at home during July.

3) June

Not much different than July, but I put it on a higher spot, just because there is more summer ahead!

2) April

April reminds me of Easter. Not only the weather starts to become better and better, but who doesn’t love Easter bunnies, chocolate eggs, and such?

1) May

May is my favorite time of the year. The first days of summer are the best, because you have escaped from the long cold winter for good, and now four months of hot weather are in front of you. Wish May would last forever.

mine (least fav to fav): April ('cause my birth month), march (birth month coming), October (year ending and did nothing), November (year ending but now i'm ok with it 'cause i gave up on the current year and i'm already dreaming about the new one), February (still a new year), may, June, July, August, September, December (new year coming but not my favorite month 'cause i don't really like christmas), January (new year new me lol).

It's the complete opposite here lol. December is the beginning of summer except is it usually rains most of the month now, February is probably the hottest month. June is the beginning of winter and July is the coldest month.
