  Some of the things that you have here were legitimately used still up to 2010 in New Zealand. We're a little behind the times, despite being the first country to get Christmas, New Year's, etc. due to us being in GMT+12.

  Recorders are STILL used today, as is the graffiti S, I've seen my sister drawing it. Gel pens are very popular, and we just got Nickolodeon - the opening of the channel in NZ was last year I think.
  A guy in my French class is a professional Pokemon card player, he goes to Australia to do it about once a month and wins money.
  Also, my sister and her friends love fortune tellers as well.

  Thats interesting :) nickelodeon is still around over here (i don't watch it anymore) but all the programs are different now i think and no where near as good as they use to be.. i didn't know new zealand was behind the times though
