Char's Ultimate Bucket List: Christmas Edition

CHARismatic110

It's that time of year again when peppermint and gingerbread are in the air and you can't go 5 minutes without hearing a Christmas song! If you guys have followed some of my previous Takes, then you may be familiar with my Bucket List series (I'll link a few at the end). Welcome to the Christmas edition! Get cozy by the fire and read along!

Christmas Caroling 🎶

Char's Ultimate Bucket List: Christmas Edition

I’m beginning to think that people only go caroling in movies and on television. I’ve never actually seen Christmas carolers in real life. Maybe it’ll take me to start the movement! Going caroling is something that I’ve always been interested doing. I enjoy singing and I just think it would be fun to go around with a group of others singing fun Christmas songs and spreading some holiday cheer.

Going To See the Tree at Rockefeller Center 🎄

Char's Ultimate Bucket List: Christmas Edition

This one could be crossed off my list easily, it’s just a matter of hopping on a bus and crossing the bridge from Philly into New York. It’s barely a 2 hour ride. So why hasn’t it happened yet? Good question. But I definitely would like to make my way there to experience this beautiful Christmas tree.

Build a Snowman ⛄

Char's Ultimate Bucket List: Christmas Edition

I know that it doesn’t necessarily have to be Christmas to do this, but it tends to first start snowing (at least in my area) around Christmas. We’ll that’s if we’re lucky (we’ve gotten pounded with snow some years for Christmas, and others it’s been 70 degrees). I’ve had countless snowball fights and made hundreds of snow angels, but I have never built a snowman. Having lived somewhere that always gets snow, I feel like I’m not taking advantage. So to answer the infamous question asked by everyone’s favorite Princess, yes I want to build a snowman! (Bonus points if you get this reference!)

Go Ice Skating ⛸

Char's Ultimate Bucket List: Christmas Edition

Funfact: I’ve been to the ice skating rink many times. I’ve even put on ice skates! But that’s as far as I’ve gotten. See, I have this fear of getting on the ice, falling and someone coming and skating over my hand and slicing my finger off. Crazy right? Well I have anxiety issues and this is exactly what goes through my head whenever I think about ice skating. I WANT to go. It looks like so much fun. I’m hoping that this fear goes away eventually.

See the Ball Drop Live 🎊

Char's Ultimate Bucket List: Christmas Edition

Another not so Christmas one, but it goes with the theme. After all the presents are opened and we’ve shared kissed under the mistletoe, it’s pretty much time for the year to come to an end. I usually bring the New Year in church, but I would love to go Times Square one year and actually watch the ball drop live. Again, getting there is no problem. It’s just a matter of planning and actually going. That’s definitely something to do with a group of loved ones.

That’s it for this special edition if the bucket list series. I hope you guys enjoy, and I hope your holidays are filled with lots of joy!
