If you see a girl (lets say an average one, a way hot one, and a maybe like below average girl) in a bikini, do you have to think about sex or her in a sexual way? Do you judge her body? If you just met her and she is in a bikini, do you judge her off her body? Also, how do you feel about modest bathing suits (rash guard and shorts)? Would you respect her more? And if you wouldn't mind, (because I know this is a long answered question) giving an answer for all the types of girls :) Thanks!

I believe the question is stated errantly. The real issue is what girls intend by wearing a bikini, and then from there all the silly ambiguity they raise about the issue.

Fact: girls wear bikinis to impress. I've heard this from women themselves. It is not to get a 'more thorough tan', as has been claimed by some in the past, because those areas revealed and therefore tanned by a bikini are not visible at other times; In short, who gives a shit how complete their tan is.

The silly ambiguity: of course, the attention is sexual. Duh. Is it intense enough to lead to attack? Of course not, at least not enough times to matter. Do guys take it as a 'come and get me' tactic, no. For guys around a pool it is just eye candy to go along with man-talk about other things, like sports and cars.

Unfortunately, there has arisen of late some kind of phantom about 'objectifying' women. Let's assume for a moment that this boogeyman really exists. There is a multi-billion dollar global lingerie industry built on the self-'objectification' of women. Hence if anything, it is a boogeywoman.

I think that says it all. Don your bikini while the weather is still warm and go play with all your pals, male or female, down at the pool. Life is too short for all this bullshit.

Any of them, it is all good.
I don't mind the more modest ones either, as I have an active imagination.
I would probably respect the scantily clad ones more, as they are showing more.

This topic is less about girls dressing sexually as it is more about the mindset of the guy.

If a guys mindset is already dirty/sexual then yes in fact most anything a girl wears will be perceived as sexual, not because of what she wears but because he views her as a sexual object.

Now for guys with clean mindsets, no, they would not see women as sexual objects simply by how they dress.

There's something about a girl in a bikini that's even hotter than if she were nude. (It's a really close call, actually.) There's definitely sexual appeal when it comes to a girl in a bikini.
