Do you expect her to already know what she wants? I know what I want from life and I would expect her to know what she wants from life and hopefully we want the same things.

Do you expect her to be strong and confident, no more insecurities? I expect her to be somewhat resolute because I am somewhat resolute, I would expect her to be somewhat confident and I wouldn't expect her not to have any insecurities because I possess one or two insecurities.

How mature and wise do you expect her to be? Somewhat mature and somewhat immature because I am a mixture of both.

Do you expect her to be ready to start a family in the next few years? No because I am not ready to start a family in the next few years.

I would expect nothing more from a 26 year old woman (note: any woman for that matter) that I would not expect from myself.

It would be unfair of me to place expectations down on a girl when I do not meet such expectations.

I'm only 19 but if my 18th birthday taught me anything , its that NOTHING changes when you past some arbitrary number.

People don't just automatically become wiser and more secure because of a few digits added to an arbitrary variable we put to people's age.

I expect the same from everyone who's an adult tbh. Which is nothing. No expectations , every day is a surprise and you'll never be let down by yourself.

I've figured all that out now. I used to be so concerned about where my life "should" be at, but now I understand that everyone has their own pace. I'm not like everyone anyway. I'm just curious what people would expect from a 26 year old woman.

I expect her to embrace her life, for all of it's insecurities, securities, and accomplishments that have come her way and made her into the woman she is today.

Also I would want her to jump into the ball pit with me.

i would have no expectations. I would presume that she was either:
1) just getting out of a relationship
2) gay
3) a career woman
4) religious
or
5) overweight (or some other debilitating condition)

Of course, this is if I have no idea what she looks like and all that I know is that she is 26 and single. There is the minor possibility that she simply doesn't want a relationship and/or likes sex for the sake of sex, but I wouldn't pin my hopes on it. If she's trying to find a relationship, I would rule out 2 and maybe 4. But as far as being prospective relationship material, her age and status wouldn't be a factor and the same criteria I have for all women would apply (high sex drive, at least a basic sense of reason, likes it in the butt, okay with occasional marijuana use, some appreciation for video games would be nice, swallows greedily, likes the same sort of movies that I do, agrees on not having kids, not overly fond of drinking..)

I've made no judgements, just balance of probability. I focused on the "why is she single?" part because that was the defining attribute of your question (single and 26 - but "why is she 26?" isn't really much of a question). I don't 'fault' her for being single. However, it is also true that girls above 25 generally prefer not to be single. As such, I would wonder why she is single. Again, not as a fault. Cases of non-conformity always make me curious. That's all this is. I would be just as curious about someone in Texas driving a Prius - or someone in California driving a hummer. Stories about how people discovered a trend, and then decided not to participate always intrigue me.

Anyway, I don't smoke pot. I would (occasionally) if it were legal, but it isn't where I live (yet).
