"I lost track of time." And now, you're about to lose your manhood.

Question

I had plans to be picked up by Sir Lancelot at 5:30 PM this afternoon, in his honda civic of a steed.

In the time between 5:40 and 6:00 I sent three texts inquiring where he was. At 6:10 I called, now worried that something might have happened on the way over. No response - to any of the above.

Now, at 6:30 (an hour after said plans) I recieve a text saying, "Sorry! I lost track of time!" Swiftly, I responded with, "What the hell!"

He says, "I love you." Now, let me ask this, why would a man ignore three text messages, one phone call and "lose track of time" when going to see the girl he loves?

Sorry, but, I'm not freaking buying it. Enlighten me.

why would a man ignore 3 texts & all the rest? only he knows. it's odd to me that he didn't explain in more detail (phone died, car trouble, baskteball game went into overtime, he got wrapped up in a book or movie, at least _some_ explanation...) I'd consider him on probation.

is this typical of him? or was it an event? one-time events are less worrisome to me than patterns of behavior. that's what probation's for: to see if this was a fluke, or a character trait.

That mofo may have been with another girl or he is incredibly dumb and actually did lose track of time and fell asleep or sumthin but it all sounds much to shady and you should probly confront him on that  because it sounds suspect. I mean I wouldn't do that to any girl especially not the girl I love and if that's what actually happened I would have never told you that  because it sounds crazy. I would have made sumthin up to not look so bad  because that sounds bad

Maybe he had some bad tacos and had really bad diarrhea.  In his rush to the bathroom he left his phone on his desk.  And after a grueling hour on the can he stumbles out of the bathroom worn out and feeling empty.  He checks his phone and goes "Oh sh*t!" and immediately replies to his beautiful girl friend but not wanting to gross her out out of consideration he leaves the episode in the bathroom out.  Give the guy a break, sh*t happens.

Lancelot is a deceptive backstabber. He screwed Guenevere behind Arthur's back, when Arthur was out hunting for the holy grail. If you know your Arthurian legends, you would have known that Lancelot is no prince charming! But Guenevere is a real slut anyway, because after Arthur came home she invited him and Lancelot to bed for a threesome.

Maybe you would have had better luck with Sir Gawain.
