Well there is a 'nerd' style. And there is a 'nerd' type of person - classified by her persona and interests. A nerd can dress in any style they want, whether it be alternative, goth, high fashion etc. A nerdy girl doesn't have to dress like a typical nerd with glasses and pony tails.

In my opinion, nerdy girls are the best. Because they usually don't have the 'popular girl' upbringing which often gives this girl a sense of entitlement and is spoilt with attention her entire life. Nerdy girls, even the hot ones are generally from a milder upbringing, aren't usually popular in school, more likely to be the 'ugly duckling' - which is basically the best type of girl. A hot looking girl, but has the attitude and persona of an average looking girl.
