ANNOYING/RACIST NEIGHBORS: What is the most annoying thing a neighbor has done to you?

Long read ahead. But this shit is fucking crazy. This racist neighbor lady is ridiculous. Feel free to just answer the question if you wish :)

I ask this more on behalf of my sister. Yea, I've had some annoying as neighbors, but holy shit. This lady tops it.

Basically, this couple is racist as fuck. They don't like Latinos at all. I noticed this when my mother was speaking to me, we were outside. My mama only speaks Spanish. She was there and she said "Idk why immigrants insist on coming to America if they refuse to learn the language"
And me being the angry person I am responded: "Idk why people from the US ignore the fact that America is a continent and not a country. I also don't know why dumbasses ignore the fact that the US doesn't even have an official language. Vieja racista."
She just gave me a dirty look, and so did I.

Just the other day. my sister's boyfriend was using a snowblower to remove the snow. And he accidentally blew some on the side of her house. Lmao this fucking lady seriously called the cops for that. Yes. Just because he got a little bit of snow on the side of her house. I was like "say what? So is she gonna call the cops when the clouds put snow on her roof or something?"

How did she know he blew snow on her house? Cuz that lady is a damn stalker. She literally watches them through her window all the time. She will even take a ruler and MEASURE her car when my sister parks. She's extra thirsty to call the cops on them for anything.

How do I know she's racist? The owner of my sister's building even said that everytime he has a Latino tenant, that lady always gets mad and basically does the same thing she does to my sister to them.

Haha. I know this is a long read. But what are the most ridiculous things a neighbor has ever done that you can remember? Vent below :)

I've had pretty good neighbors all my life. The rudest thing that a neighbor ever did was this family that lived next to me went on vacation and left their dog out in the backyard. Every night, that dog barked and barked and barked until dawn. I mean nonstop. Several neighbors and I called the cops, but they could do nothing because the family wasn't home. I left a note on the door to whomever was feeding the dog suggesting that the dog be put in the house at night. Never happened. Eventually I wound up staying at my sister's for a time, just so I could sleep!

They never apologized.

Oh, once these same neighbors' daughters were out swimming in their pool. The youngest one made up this song and started singing it. The only lyrics were "Cheeky mellow!" repeated again and again and again. She was singing it as I was calling up this girl to ask her out on a date. I kept laughing as I was talking to her because I kept overhearing "Cheeky mellow! Cheeky mellow!" again and again. The girl said yes, in spite of the fact I couldn't stop laughing. Every now and then, something reminds me of that stupid song (like right now) and it will bounce around in my head for days (like right now).

The neighbor next door, Ben, was an elderly gentleman and he fell down a lot. His wife asked me to come help him up and I did. She has been very nice to me since my wife died. Ben passed away a few months ago. My other next door neighbor, Oscar, is awesome! He goes spear fishing a lot and he brings me the freshest fillets! I've met his wife once. She's very kind, but she is a total recluse. Seeing her is like spotting Bigfoot. The neighbor across the street, Aurora, is very kind, too. She's brought me a lot of business, tutoring her grandkids and their friends. I just went to her granddaughter's quinceanera. She is the tamalinator. She bakes and bakes and bakes tamales and gives me far more than I could ever eat.

Some people just take their anger out on innocent people and it's just stupid. For whatever reason their life sucks and they hate seeing people happy. U should definitely consider the harassment thing.

About ten years ago, I had some white trash neighbors. Like out of an episode of COPS. At first it was a little, nice old man and his grown ass man-son who was a druggie. So the dad dies, and dude has all of his druggie friends come live with him. The house and yard goes to shit. They keep their dog in a fenced off area so small he couldn't even turn around. It died a miserable death. I wanted to call the police about that but I was a kid and afraid the neighbors would do something crazy. They carved "white is right" into some wet cement in front of their house, they were loud, always had parties etc. To top it off there was like a 6 year old boy who lived there. He was always crying and his mom would yell "go eat a FUCKING apple I'm busy!" They were always fighting. Anyway some guy living there pulls a gun on the mailman. An hour later dozens of cops surround the block with their guns drawn. They go inside and shoot one of em and arrest everyone else. The whole time 14 year old me is hiding under my bed home alone. My room was the closest to their house. Only like 8ft away from their living room.

My family has lived in the same house since I was like 6 (I'm 22 now) but our next door neighbor was crazy & everyone in the neighborhood hated her (she's too old to do the stuff she used to do now so no one even sees her anymore).

-She was the most nit picky thing known to mankind. She would call the city on you if your weeds were a little too high or if your grass wasn't perfect.
-She cussed out my mom in front of me when I was a child because my mom dumped out the water from our kiddie pool in the backyard & didn't realize that it was going under the fence into her backyard.
-Prior to us moving in, there was a married couple that lived directly across the street from our house. The husband was a mailman, & he would drive the truck home on his lunch break & spend his lunch time at home. Not a big deal right? Well, this lady (for whatever reason) calls the post office apparently to tell them that he's skipping out on work or whatever (which he wasn't). He gets fired. I assume money issues arise after the loss of his job & leads to the couple getting a divorce.
-Made herself the block club president when we technically don't even have a block club. I had a male friend who was 19 & was walking down the street to the store to return a few bags of beer bottles. He has to walk past our houses to go to the store. She was outside & told him that she's not going to allow a minor to RETURN BEER BOTTLES because she's the "block club president" & has the authority to do that. I assume he just told her to fuck off & went on his mission anyway.
-Would get up at 7 AM on a weekday & blow her leaf blower when THERE WEREN'T EVEN ANY LEAVES TO BLOW, I assume to draw attention to herself. Causing a man who lived AROUND THE CORNER to ride his bike over to her house to cuss her out because she woke him up.
-Walked all the way down the block just to tell a little girl's mom that the little girl walked on her grass. The mom told her to get the fuck off her property.

My neighbor has the appearance of a nice little old lady... But I swear she's evil. She dislikes us because we're rednecks apparently! I am from a small country town but I am not like the rednecks she was speaking of. She told her son, I assume that he was her son, that she hates her idiot redneck neighbors that are loud and etc... I was behind her in the store, she KNEW I could hear... Me and my family are very quiet and not very messy. But she called the fire department on us because we had a fire pit out back to roast marshmallows and drink hot chocolate... She had told them it was a bonfire which is illegal in the city. We had a store bought fire pit thingy. Which she clearly seen when she was watching us through her window. THEN she yelled at my dog to shut up... he was out back and was hurt, which could easily be seen due to his position... She said she'd call the police if he didn't shut up... so me, having had enough of her nonsense simply told her to shut the fuck up... while running to tend to my dog who sadly had apparently been bit by a snake and died a few days later... then just last week she called these people on us because we had a branch tosse on her side... When it was just basically on the ditch near the road... She acts like we're mindless idiots destroying everything... I've never disliked anyone as much as I dislike her... but I'm always polite... because I was brought up to respect my elders and I refuse to act like her... minus the slip up when my dog got bit... She really pissed me off then... Sorry about the longness. x)

I'm sorry you have to go through that, I do have a story for you though. it's probably been a year almost but I was at work on break, sitting in front of the wash window thing and there was this native American lady and a lady that's from Mexico she was just doing her job, very sweet lady, anyways for some reason or another the next thing I hear, was your not in Mexico anymore, this is America we speak  English  nobody understands what your saying! !!! I was so damn mad I wanted to punch this chic in her face, I was shaking I was so mad, I went up to one of the girls in cafeteria and asked to speak to their manager, he came out after awhile and I told him the story and he said thats unacceptable and he'd take care of it, after he left I made sure the other old bag wasn't around and I asked Maria if she was ok and gave her a hug through the window thing, told her I was sorry she was talked to like that, and that I let a supervisor know, she thanked me, later on the manager of food and beverage came and found me on the floor to thank me for standing up for Maria, I just said your welcome. .. but I'd do it for anyone. .. how she was talked to was completely uncalled for and fucked up. chin up buttercup

I have had so many rude neighbors that I don't even want to discuss it.

But about the racial discrimination you experience (d), I totally understand how you feel. I'm Asian and I live in Portland, OR ("the Whitest city in America" - Google it! ) and we experience racism every single day. I'm not exaggerating.
It's absurd that your neighbor said "I don't know why immigrants insist on coming to America if they refuse to learn the language," because unless she is English , there is a good chance that her own ancestors didn't know English either when they sailed to America from Europe . It's even more absurd that she said that because America isn't her country: White people were the first illegal immigrants in America. The first EVER. And yet they are always insulting other ethnic groups - particularly Mexicans - and assume that anyone who isn't White is an illegal immigrant and doesn't have the right to live here or even exist.
I try to remind myself that if I stoop to their level, I am no better than they are, but it's hard. I can't help getting angry. As soon as I step outside the house, my defense goes up and it often seems that my bitchy side is the only side I have because I am so angry all the time. And I admit that I am a racist too. I have come to despise White people. Not all of them because I know some of them are good people, but I've starting building my armor since I was 11 and now, if someone wants to start a fight with me, I'm always ready.

My neighbors are Chinese. I don't know if they're mother and daughter but I know one is elderly and in her late 50's and the other is in her 40's. I have 2 daughters 7 & 9. One day my 7 year old was outside in my backyard on the patio doing her homework. Her papers started flying. Some flew into the neighbors yard. I told both my girls to go next door and ask if they can get my 7 year old's homework. The 40 year old lady told my children she would give her her papers but if it happens again she won't give her her papers because it's being done purposely. All of my other neighbors are friendly. If I speak to them, they will speak back and a lot of the times they'll speak first. My Chinese neighbors won't speak at all. I say hi and they turn their head. Our home owners association requires us to keep our yards clean, grass cut during the summer, and snow shoveled. We are required to shovel our side walks. She'll shovel the side by the other neighbors, but won't shovel her portion of the side by my yard. I can go on and on. My neighbors are horrible as well.

When I was in kallmünz there was a Jew (not being racist here he was the racist one) that always called us with every name possible loudly. we didn't really have anything to do with him and his old wife he just didn't like the sight of us, me and my cousin. we weren't even annoying children we were silent and played together. and the town is very small you cannot hide yourself. the most annoying work he did that I never forget was putting his foot on my hair while I was sitting looking away and I saw my cousin looking at me weirdly I stood up and suddenly fell and my forehead was in blood, also a lot of my hair from back tore out.

and when I looked up I saw he's standing behind me like a damn creep and was standing there all that time silently and my cousin looked at me weirdly because he saw him. my mother had a very loud fight with those two Jews because of this. and I really feared him he really scared the hell out of me after that happened. and my mother didn't tell me but a short time after it we went to Nuremberg more often than ever I think she was nervous too. because she had to leave me in kallmünz for going to work.

I don't really know why he did that. I don't know, but I will never forget that. And I don't generalize but he was one old nasty person.

In my apartment when I was in college, my racist neighbors (who were also college students),

called up the corporate office and completely made up this story of me walking in their apartment un-announced at night.

I wasn't even there; I was helping a family member move into their house!

The on-site manager at the complex called me and said to "talk to him as soon as I step foot onto the property". He told me about this made up story (he didn't believe it for a moment; he knows me very well) and told me to not talk to them anymore for any reason to protect myself.

Pretty much, these college girls didn't want a black guy living next door to them, so they made up that story to get me and my three roommates kicked out.\

Oh my goodness... our former neighbor (we moved out of that place 5 years ago).
Okay, he:
1) Would throw objects, including a full plate of food with sauce, at his wife's head.
2) Would try to get us involved in the conflict. He was "a little drunk" at those moments.
3) Would insult people at random times.
4) Tried to hit my mom once. Fortunately another neighbor opened his throat and the guy stopped in his tracks.
5) If some dirt was on his walkway he'd pick it up and throw it on ours.
6) When he was using products to destroy unwanted weeds he'd spray some on our grass. Generally when we were on holiday.

See... nice guy. Sjeeeeez!

I live next door to this older lady who lives alone, and she's just mean. Or rather, she's nice to me but mean to my husband. He's not from Canada and she makes it so blatantly obvious that she hates that. She's said the exact same thing about language too - one time, he was outside with his sister and they were speaking Serbian. She was out there and yelled that they're in Canada so they should speak English like everyone else does.

She's also told him that it's "immigrants like him who are taking away jobs from Canadians" and that he "should go back home because we don't need common eurotrash in this country." Yeah.

Ummm that sucks but what can you do really some people will just be like that. SMH I have had horrible neighbors but the worst have been 1 female black single mother with 1 child who smokes and would leave her crap on our lawn and would walk by with her kid and would look down on us and would say sassy crap. Like okay I do not care, xD. Another was a hispanic mother who always wanted to be better than everyone else. We got an electric scooter she did that same day, we got pizza from a certain place and so did she. Her kids were very obnoxious and cry babies, so if we got them in trouble for doing something wrong they would lie and say we hit them. She did NOT INTIMIDATE ME even if I was a teen and she was an adult like okay? Other than that my neighbors have been a joy and fun or mind their own as do we.

turn us in for everything , we had too many dogs she turned
us into the City code enforcement officer, our property was

us in cause we had ducks and were not allowed but yet

I have two crazy neighbors actually. I live in the projects and each floor has 5 apartment.

1. I have a neighbor that my family and I call the "Oink Oink." Walking past their door is the worse thing you can do. Sometimes it smells like vomit, sometime like 1 week garbage, and etc. This scent will cover half the floor's pure oxygen. My mom would actually throw Clorox at their door, Heck I even caught another neighbor spraying air fresher at their door. Apparently they have kept it together now.. had another neighbor complain saying that it isn't good to breath that everyday and to keep together

I've never had anything like that obvs... The worst thing is my neighbours dog used to keep gettin into my garden cuz he could jump real high an he wasn't trained so he'd piss everywhere, every day we'd be mopping up piss :P but I didn't mind that. I love the dogz.

I'm happy you spoke your mind to her. I hate people that are like that. My own mom say things about not wanting a half Mexican kid. It's so hurtful. She won't accept it when we have children. I've never had racist neighbors, but my neighbor stalks my mom. Whenever my dad and my neighbors wife isn't home, he carries his tubby self over to chat up my mom. We ran into the grocery store and bumped into him... All the gross man could talk about was noticing my mom in her work out clothes. My mom hates when he tries to talk to her.

Recently one of my next door neighbors is a Cowboys fan (this was when they first got into the playoffs) and so when he saw me he was like "Hey. How bout them Cowboys?" I was just like "I hear ya." He died laughing.

That's alright though. Foles is a potential elite QB. If we fix out secondary and Foles rises to his potential we'll be able to spank any team in the NFL.

I have 2 annoying neighbors. In one side I have some racist white trash that party all night and never pick up their dog's shıt or cut the grass until the police are called. The house behind me is worse since the husband beats his wife and screams at her for hours in the backyard. Cops have been called to that house every week since they moved in and the only time they've ever done anything is when he jumped into my yard and was yelling threats because I saw him beating his wife.

while living in a multi-family home, the upstairs neighbors had really loud, really disturbing sex, on a shitty creaky/squeaky bed, in the middle of the fucking night, directly above my bedroom. pissed me off so much, I finally wrote them a letter and put it on their door. which unfortunetly, led to the very creepy guy personally coming to apologize to me, claiming they'd be quieter (never happend), then about a week later, started flirting with me in passing. In easier words us rednecks was having a party at my house. It was ab 8 pm. We shut everything off and jus sat in silence. The neighbor was out walk in her dog and saw us but didn't say nutin. So after she passed we went back to partying and she called the cops on us bc we was supposedly very loud but we were about 50 feet from my great great grandaddy who is 94 by the way and when he walked out to take the trash out we told him what happen wid the neighbor lady and he said I didn't hear anything. ( he is a light sleeper and all it takes is a person to crack a nickel and he is awake) and he was sleepin and never heard anything and when the cops got there he told the po po wht he herd the neughtbor lady flipped. And let's jus say we never saw her again

But that's annoying if she watches you through her window. I always look at my tree in front of my house and sometimes my neighbors see me but I am actually staring at my tree because it is getting bigger and I like it.
