With guys, at a certain height, I start to think I could take them, not because of their strength but just because I'm so much bigger than him, there's a guy who's like 5'5 who beats me every time at arm wrestling, but I also know I could take him because of his height.
This theory of course excludes strangers or people I know have had training.
With girls I assume nothing about their strength. Some of the biggest girls I've met have been the weakest and the smallest the strongest. Y'all are weird.

I wouldn't think about that, but if I thought about whether I thought they were strong I would generally think a short petite person isn't really that strong. I know that's not always the case though.

Not weak, but weaker. It's just a fact that when you're lighter, you have less strength. There's a reason why there are weight classes in boxing.

Oh no, not at all! There are some very strong small people on this planet :-)

Usually because they are. The more muscle someone has the more they can lift. Short doesn't mean much but skinny/petite people are usually weak.
Short can be actually helpful though, often the strongest guys in weightlifting are the short stocky build. I outlift almost all of my gymrat friends, they're all considerably taller than me.

Yes, but of course, some small people are gifted with surprising strength, or they build it up over years of working out.

I discovered this when I pinched a small one and her mother one time.
