Would you go out with a guy who has a Lamborghini even if you don't really like him?

You know this guy but your personalities really don't much and you know for sure he is not the kind of guy you want to be with. But some day he tells you he likes you and invites you to go out on a date in his Lambo. Would you do it? Honest answers please :D

Probably not. If I don't like you, I don't like you. And having a badass car isn't going to change that. I'm not the kind of girl who is impressed just because someone has enough money to afford a car like that, and while I'm sure it's ridiculously fun to drive, it's one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen, haha. I find that a lot of guys who feel the need to own cars like that tend to be compensating for something. Possibly a personality defect. =P

Plus, would you really want a girl who's only after you because of your car?

Hmm that's very interesting that if you wanna buy a luxury car it means you are compensating for something. Never thought of that... But I think it fits my situation perfectly... But that's not going to change my mind. I am still gonna strive to own a lambo some day.

It isn't true of all guys, and I'm not going to make assumptions about individuals and I wasn't meaning to sound rude at all. But it is true that needing to surround yourself with impressive things, especially things that would be impressive or attractive to others, is a good indication that someone is insecure or compensating for something else in their life.

Don't let my speculations affect your plans, haha. I'm just one girl, and if you love that car and can save up that much, go for it.

I only mean that I wouldn't change my mind about a guy just because he can afford impressive material possessions, because I'm not attracted to people in general who use their possessions to impress or get attention. The compensation thing is just another potential motivating factor. =]

I wasn't being sarcastic at all if that's what you were thinking. But I just found your idea of the compensation for something else very insightful. And I am totally fine with that, I don't care what the reason is for my motivations. I just know I would be very happy to achieve what I want.

It's difficult to gauge tone over the internet, haha, so I wasn't sure. Well thank you. =] Doing something because it would make you happy is usually the best motivation for doing it. Especially in a case like this where you really would love to one day own this car. Striving toward that because having it would make you happy, is the best and most logical reason to do so. Compensation only comes into play when you consider WHY owning this car would make you so happy. Just a thought, haha.

I love lambos but just getting a test drive is not what I want. I want to own one, that's why I made it my primary goal in life to somehow get the money.

But it's still true and always will be. Hell, if a guy is a millionaire he can go have sex with any pornstar he wants. Although I agree that if you are rich it's SO much harder to find true love because all the girls will be onto you and it will be EXTREMELY hard to tell if they are after you or your money. Even if they tell you they love you and always will love you, it could be just a lie to get the money. I guess that's one of the few negative sides of being rich.

True, but think about yourself and the morals you want to have... Are you the type of person that is a user? Can you fake emotions and interest for popularity for a few hours? Or do you have more self respect than that? Not to sound over the top... but are you going to wh*re yourself out for a few hours in a lambo? If he understands that you aren't interested in him in that way, then it's totally okay.
