No, the character is based more on brains than brawn. Having him played by a former pro wrestler doesn't make sense.

Weve all gotten too comfortable with jesse Eisenberg scrawny brainy joker luthor but Honesy the rock looks just like the animated version of the 90s luthor. This seems like perfect casting and I can very well see him having the ability to pull it off. Just because he was a former WWF champ doesn't block him from playin such a character.

If you're going for the traditional look for the cartoon then yeah he'd make a good fit.

You can not have a Lex Luthor who is more buff than the guy playing Superman... No. I am not a superman fan but the franchise would never recover from the colossal attention shift to Lex Luthor
