I hate when
People text like this
Instead of writing
whole thing in
a single message.
BAAM! 5 notifications for one thing!
I don't mind if people type each paragraph in different messages but writing each sentence in a different message is too annoying when they have many more sentences to say.
Text talk like using 2 for too and so on. Thats really it, don't understand why people get upset about typos and Grammer if you aren't dating, I'm not trying to impress you, you already know me. I'm a busy man, sometimes I'm texting people back while I'm talking to someone on my phone and holding a sandwhich!
Someone texting me "how are you" as an opener all the time. It grinds me because I come up with a different response not to sound repetitive in order to answer a repetitive question. Once they texted me how are you at the same time I called them and then a few hours later they type "how are you" right under the last one
i use rn for right now, u for you, I don't know for i dont know, bc for because, and a lot of those that really do save u time in writing a text. i dont have anything that annoys me besides ghosting on me without telling me why!! if ur not going to be able to respond than tell me, dont leave me hanging just waiting for a damn response and then 4 hours later u finally respond. dont make me feel like im a burden to u bc u never respond quickly

Being left on read if you asked a question. Dont mind being left on read for little texts but it bugs me when someone sees my text to make plans and doesn't respond. Also texting allll the time without giving time to respond. Im a busy person and can't give everyone 100% of my attention when they text me
when 1. someone can't hold a conversation or dosent ask a question back etc 2. people taking two long to respond 3. people leaving you on read 4. you can't read someone
Grammar, grammar and grammar. For fuck's sake, read BEFORE you send!! They're vs there vs their. Bear vs bare. Your vs You're. It's vs Its. Most devices offer spell check and next word suggestions. ALL CAPS is another one. ALL CAPS IS YELLING PEOPLE!!! And let's not forget..., the mightiest foul of them all. The run-on sentence! Just jabber, jabber, jabber with no end in sight. No commas, no periods, no capitalization to at least give us a hint that there's a new sentence. Nothing!
When they reply with "ok"... it sounds like their mad at me or something. At least put an "lol" at the end to let me know we're cool. Or "how r u"... you obviously don't care enough about how I am or else you would have typed out the whole words when asking. Also, and this is specifically on snapchat, when the person sends me a picture to have me open it, only to find a blank screen with the words "streaks"...
Nothing really annoys me tbh. Just when a person seems arrogant and tries to avoid a conversation with me is all that seems annoying (like... as if I'm going to start assassinate them because they said something I don't like...) everything else is grand I guess.
I also hate "u's" and "r's" also I'm okay with someone taking a little bit to respond but more than 15 minutes just loses my interest fast. Also I'm okay with one or two word replies maybe 2 or 3 times but if a trend of more than that start it is annoying.
Being left on read, when people make up excuses for not texting back, an overuse of emojis, one word responses, when people ask me to call them through text (makes me hella nervous), and when people spam through one on one texts OR group chats.
Good English grammar or rather the lack of it, is one of my pet peeves. I'm not saying I'm perfect and sometimes my phones auto correct really blows it without me noticing (another pet peeve)! A really simple one bothers me, when people use your when they should be using you're!
Way too many acronyms to remember. A few here and there is ok. I'm tired of "lol". All the things you said in your post, I'm just as petty. Punctuation is more important than most seem to think. Without it, I'm looking at it, thinking "what is he/she saying?"
Really the only thing that bugs me is actually my own fault. I'm not always sure how to respond if it's someone I'm not used to texting, and then I get worried that they think I'm ignoring them. I'm not ignoring them, I just don't know what to say...

(This only applies to a serious context; anything goes in a humourous context) When people give little reactions like "…" and expect me to react back, and then get mad when I tell them I don't care about their feelings when they're fishing for drama. Another thing that grinds my gears is when people beat around the bush and try to get *me* to make a move.
Being left on read Wyd, send a pic Blowing up my phone with messages after a few minutes of not replying, short replies, not carrying a conversation, ghosting
i dont like it when they read your messages.. take forever to respond to you. .. and you know they are texting mutual friends. As well when they make lame excuses for not replying and taking more than a week to reply!!! Jeez even my grandma can text better!!

define overuse of emojis =p
I don't really have many pet peeves, on the other hand I think that others if anything probably have annoyances with how I text
I use stuff like- text, ur, u, r, dnt, smh, prolly, ima, lol, ell, lols. Lels, ya, at, smdh, tfw, kno, wtf, k, sayin, jammin, the list goes on
