I don't think it is.
But I hate when people do it, like I was dating this girl for about six months and then out of the blue one day, she said that it didn't work out and broke up. The next day I found out that she had blocked me on every single social media page and I was like '"yeah go ahead block me, as if I'm gonna die if I don't see your face again".
I mean, what's up with that? First you break up with me for some unknown reason and then block me, that is the most immature thing to do in my opinion.
HONESTLY I AM JUST GLAD THAT IT DIDN'T WORK OUT. WHO KNOWS WHAT I'D BE DEALING WITH IF IT HAD?😂
Depends on how mad or what the circumstances are in being that mad, but I find it more childish to unfriend someone randomly, especially when you still know and see them. It just creates needless awkwardness and maybe tension. I’ve had this happen to me a number of times over the years; I only occasionally post and I don’t pester anyone in messages, so I dunno why I get unfriended by people I know personally, even by those who still say hi to me. I’m forced to wonder what their problem was to provoke them to do that
Yes! Might as well be alone for the rest of your life. Yours supposed to be friends, and friends fight. You will fight with your family, and fight with your lover. That doesn't mean you just cut people off because you explode in anger. That is how you lose good precious people in your life. Life is too darn short. Facebook and many forms of social media have become so toxic.
I'd only unfriend someone if i no longer wanted them in my life ever again. It's best never to respond or react in anger, or you'll regret it after you've calmed down, when you're thinking more rational. It's best to wait until your don't feel so angry , then make a decision whether to unfriend them or not

“Because I was mad at them” doesn’t really help me to make a judgement on this to be honest although whatever the circumstances that made anyone want to stop being friends I hope there was at least an explanation of why otherwise I’m not sure it helps anyone
Depends on the reason. Friends are going to have disagreements from time to time. That is not a good reason to unfriend someone. But if your friend stabs you in the back (hopefully in a figurative sense, not literally) I'd say that is a good reason to unfriend them on Facebook and in real life.
I haven't unfriended people in forever because i just dgaf anymore. I just unfollow or hide them from my view. It sounds childish but at the same time, you do what you have to do to make yourself feel better
That is not "childish" its UNHEALTHY
People who do these things have unhealthy relationships with themselves. Poor emotional management. Poor problem solvers/communicators.
Not inherently. I think it depends a lot on what you’re mad at them for. You could also just unfollow them if you don’t want them showing up on your feed anymore.
It is if it’s over something really stupid. If you know you never want to talk to them again then that’s reasonable.
Agreed
If you unfriend someone on Facebook, you should not expect they will allow you to friend them again in the future if you change your mind. You should not unfriend people if you expect there is a chance you will want to be friends with them in the future.
I haven't been on FB in like 2 weeks. Nevertheless, it would be the last thing I would consider doing for it's really irrevelant.
Id say so. It doesn't really help the situation at all.
Yes.
If you can't be honest with your friends, who can you be honest with?
It's best not to make rash decisions. There are less childish ways to make a point that you won't have to eat later if things are repaired.
Yes. The real-life equivalent is stonewalling and refusing to talk to them.
Yes. Sort out why you are mad at them and then you might not lose a friend for good
You are supposed to have pictures of your friends taped to your wall at home and then take their picture down and tell them you unfriended them. lol
It’s not childish. Get rid of that negative energy sis!
Yeah my opinion that's like throwing dirt at someone on the playground
Facebook is irrelevant to anything real. The playground of narcissists. All you'll EVER see there is LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!
Yes it is. Hell I've had family do that to me before as well
If I don't want to deal with them any more I will delete them.
