Overthinking is a mental condition caused by other mental issues such as Obsessions, Depression, Anxiety etc. . .

Someone who attend to overthink can potentially end up becoming over-protective. Due an overreaction caused by overthinking. But i don't know what exactly [overlove] means here so i can't be sure.
