after seeing people with 10k 70k 104k photos it made me realise there are different types of hoarders because omg why do you need that many? and how much are you paying for cloud?😠and yes this pic is from my camera roll, yes there are sheep everywhere, i live in nz🙄
I TB that's a terabyte. I have been a serious photographer since I moved out of home at 14. I have 8TB's total of photos, broken down into the Natural World: West Coast, East Coast. Architectural and Organic Natural forms, and Industrial and post apocalyptic post industrial. Cultural events. People and their true nature's has been a favoured subject matter since I was at the end of second year university at 16.
Wouldn't you like to know? Remember when you had to offload your crap onto websites for safekeeping? Resize your high def shots? Anyone remember developing film? I had a professor who had a prize collection of various old film cameras. One had a dead spider stuck in the lens and it created this pretty neat effect.

That can be tricky and it's a little like fishing, I'd do it more if I had more reason to. Deleting is the biggest chore of it. Editing always is.
oh god i know what u mean when u say u wish u cohld capture what ur eye can see. i remember taking a million photos of the moon once just to get 1 decent one. I've never seen it so bright and clear. not a single cloud was in the sky. i can still remember it
lol one time I scared off this jerkoff with a huge lens attachment obviously snapping his own poverty porn of a kid begging on the skywalk. All I had to do was start taking pictures of him taking pictures of the boy. It made him so nervous to have me know exactly what he was doing and then have proof.
0. So…where is the option for me? I like the assumption, that everyone needs to be like this. Having mess in their phone. Taking pics of everything. That is just not OK. It might be normal, just because a lot of people does it, but that does not make it OK. Stop taking pictures of everything and try to live it. God, I've never thought I say something like this. And that scale. :-D You don't start at 0, which is valid answer in this context, but…to be honest, I don't care about that now. Option G is useless. More than 100 000 is…well, anything more than 100 000. A to B is 10×, B to C is 5×, C to D is 2×. So…that's not good. I'd suggest exponential scale, but I imagine that just too much for this (whole site :-D ).

I don't pay for cloud storage. I have expandable memory phones. Every so often I go through and delete any photo that I find insignificant and usually drop down by 10k or so.
Its not that I need that many pictures, it's that I use my camera as a piece of paper sometimes. So if I need to remember small details i take a picture. Then i forget about it and 6mo to a year later, I delete it in my purge session.
Most pictures i keep are from loved ones as a reminder. But I don't have any physical pictures, really.
I learned photography, with film, and it was 12, 24, maybe 36 shots, unless you bought bulk film rolls, and loaded your own 35mm camera cartridges. I learned to be specific, with shots, bracketing exposures, hoping to get the RIGHT one. Digital made it all moot!! Hoarder's paradise, on digital!! Download drives, so you can take THOUSANDS of crap pics, and save them all!! I prefer creating specific shots, and getting a few, REALLY GREAT ONES, rather than a shit-load of crap!

And also, most people who take shit loads of pictures, aren't doing it for themselves, but to impress others. Everyone knows someone like that.
there's places for them. usually at most mountain/hill areas. theyre not walking down the street or anything thats not safe for them nor would they want it. theyre not wild too, there are people who own them and take care of them

10 000+ taken by camera, 36 400 downloaded images/screenshots/drawings/etc. It says I've got over 46 410 pictures. Maybe time to clean up or something.
only around 1000. cause with my phone i don't really take pictures much and if i do, i delete it soon. i only store my dslr pictures and of those i only store the ones tat turned out "ok" (as in: in focus and without unwanted motion blur).
I usually only have about 30 in my camera. I like to travel sometimes, so I take it with me. If I think I will be gone over a week, I tend to get one with 100+.
