Your statement, while accurate, still doesn't account for the whole issue. That said, average intelligence is on the rise. Men are still better at some things, and women are still better at some things. Spacial awareness, as an example of men, and emotional intelligence as an example of women.

Biologically women are supposed to be smarter to compensate for less muscle mass and thinking of ways to protect their children. Men are generally dumber, because they are more inclined to do things without thinking of consequences.
