There are three occasions I can think of, where I balled so many tears watching a movie that I had to either hide them or leave the movie because of it.
-----
Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You!
- I thought Ash turning into stone during the first movie was sad; Ash's death in this movie is a tear jerker with all the emotions Pikachu was feeling and traumatic music playing all at once. I won't spoil the movie but let's say Ash died in Pikachu's place, in believing he'll change the world, even when Ash was gone. All the tears pouring out of Pikachu's face, his rage causing massive destruction; you don't forget these things.
Coco:
When you've seen the whole journey of Miguel and what his family was all about, you'll understand why the one minute clip of him and his grandmother Coco will touch your heart. He played a song with her father's guitar to remind her of her father, which in return created one of the most emotional moments in an animated film I've ever seen! If you seen Coco, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Pete's Dragon (2016 Version):
This is more coming from my life's personal experiences but the ending of this movie gave me a reality check in realizing what I could lose in the long run if I chose to stay in a certain state for too long. Pete had to choose to either be with his family or stay on the run with Elliot (The Dragon). In the end of it, he chose reality over fantasy in realizing there's a bigger world out there with his family, keeping Elliot safe in the process. It's a personal moment for me that I don't think many people would cry over.

I've always appreciated movies that touch your heart with tears because that shows that you have feelings inside in knowing there are stories out there that you can relate to; that you're not alone in what you feel. I hope we'll find more movies like these!

After Chris Rock (as Ruby Rod) in Fifth Element got done screaming... I was 🤣 for about a good 15 mins...
Ooooohh... you wanted "the sappy list":
"Powder" - when he turns into lightning
"Phenomena" - when Kyra Sedgewick explains how to handle death with grace and acceptance, holding him in the field.
"The Dark Crystal" - when Gen is holding Kyra, like, "but... dude... that's great, you're all light, but you killed my girlfriend..."
"Inuyasha"(anime) - when Inuyasha's childhood is revealed to Kagome for the first time; and again when she's pinned to a tree paralyzed watching Inuyasha (whom she has feelings for) being seduced by a resurrected dead ex-girlfriend...
... I mean, this could go all the way back to like when E. T. was sick and so was Elliot, or Charlotte's kids trying to explain to Wilbur that his best friend was dead, or when they had to put Ol Yeller down, or...
The hardest, huh? F--k if I know; I live in a temperate rainforest for a reason...
"No, really... (*sniff*) ... its just the fog condensing on my lashes..."
"Bruh... we're *indoors* at the mall theater..."
😅🤣
Ponette and Treeless Mountain. As both of these films involve parent abandonment, that the main characters which are children. Questioning their thoughts and emotions while still trying to come in terms of their different lifestyle without their parents. Stuff like that makes me cry. As an adult feeling lost in the world, now imagining a child feeling like that. It’s sad.
I'm not always a crier during movies, but Bridge To Terabithia always gets me. Not the scene where Leslie dies either, the scene where Jess is running from his dad. I remember watching it a few years ago and crying so hard I had to pause the movie until I composed myself.

I want to say it was the first day we got cable, this is probably when I was 5 or so. A Peanuts movie called Snoopy, Come Home was on, and Snoopy had run away or gotten lost or something, and I was bawling because I fucking LOVED Snoopy back then, haha. And then my mom came in the room and i buttoned up real quick and was trying to act like I wasn’t crying lmfao. I was a mess though, no way she couldn’t tell😂
Maybe Heat , ending scene... when Pacino kills De Niro and stars crying. Many people doesn't undrstand thqt movie and they think its all about action. Why Pacino cried? Look at his life.. devorced.. satanistic cheating wife.. kid who tries to commit suicide (Natalie Portman). So basically his life is totally disaster comparing to De Niros who got money and most beautiful woman character near him. Pacino cried cause he KILLED BETTER HUMAN THAN HIMSELF. And he understands that but he had to kill him cause it was him or him.
I actually cried during Guardians of the Galaxy 2 when Yondu died after admitting that he thought of Quill as his son, and then having all the Ravagers show up to give him a proper funeral.
The end of the movie blow with Johnny depp when he’s in prison and day dreams about meeting his adult daughter but it’s just a fantasy cuz she won’t speak to him and when sends the voice recording to his dying dad. Always chokes me up a bit.
https://youtu.be/aGrJksUwpNMhttps://youtu.be/XX8lrkaRBAcWhen professor Snape tells Harry how much he loved his mother.😭😭
And in Naruto , when Itachi's whole story is revealed and turns out he could kill everyone even his parents but could not kill his brother.
And
Fault in our stars , Titanic ( not when leo dies , when that band keeps playing till the ships goes down)
I was sobbing like a kid.It was the first time I ever cried at a movie (when I was around 9 in the cinema) 😢 It was the scene in “Monsters Inc” where Sully had to say goodbye to Boo 😪 When she placed her hand on his & said “Kitty!”, that floored me somehow 😭😭😭
I full on ugly cried during Inside Out when Bing Bong died. I realized that he loved her so much, and by dying in her head it means not only did he sacrifice himself, but it means she forgot him.
I was so heart broken. I was bawling and sobbing so much my date had to take me out of the theater. There is a film I love called powder. If you haven't seen it I'd look it up. It is quite old now. But I had a good cry at the end of that.
Probably also when Spider-Man was dusted at the end of infinity war (spoiler for those who haven't seen it). And probably any Marvel movie that has dedicated to the memory of Stan Lee 😥Gladiator, at the end. She says "He was a Soldier, of ROME. Honor him!" then another asks, "Who will help me carry him?"
American Sniper, at the end, the procession, for a fallen HERO! Chris Kyle!A baby getting circumcised in "The Red Pill Documentary". Can't believe doctors think it's okay or even good to force a helpless baby boy to go through such deadly pain.
When I was young it was Brian's Song. A true story about two men on a football team who become friends and then the one friend gets terminal cancer.
Synecdoche, NY messed me up badly. How to Train Your Dragon 3. P. S. I Love You. The Notebookm

The Lion King when I first saw it as a child. 😊💜🤙

I was watching a youtube video using scenes from UP and it was based on the Westlife song "I want to grow old with you."
I cried for a week from listening to that song. I don't know why. I don't believe I ever wanted to get married.Opening scene of Watchmen and the final goodbye scene between Newland and Ellen in Age of Innocence
The final speech in 'The fault in our stars' and Rita's death in Dexter
