Rude overreaction? Justified reaction? Mix of both? What are your thoughts, taking the context into consideration?

Context:
The two people have talked quite a bit, where sexual jokes/innuendoes have been accepted/exchanged a few times without issue. Both people usually joke around with one another and are friends.

Who was in the wrong? Right? Maybe no one is?

Also, the person using “love” didn’t know it would get that reaction from the other person. If he or she had, they wouldn’t have used it.

Did the other person overreact? Was rude? Having a bad day?

Yeah, he/she seemed to have overreacted or acted rudely for a variety of reasons.
Wasn’t rude or an overreaction at all. Justified.

I’ve intentionally blurred out the names and used the words “he/she“ to make things fair for those involved and everyone viewing/reading.

I don’t want anyone to be affected by anything other than the CONTENT of what is said.

Some people might be biased towards the woman, man, a certain user, etc.
