Husband keeps buying gift cards?

He keeps buying gift cards and loading hundreds on them. I have no clue who they’re for or what they are for. What should I do? I never ask what they are for. What is going on. My sister also said she caught him on the dating app she uses.

Do you have access to his credit card account (assuming he has one) or bank account? If so, he could be trying to find a way to spend money on something (presumably the dating site your sister mentioned seeing him on) without you finding out about it.

The other possibility from the top of my head is that he's very gullible and is falling for a lot of scam calls, lol. They will usually tell people to go buy a gift card and put money on it in order to pay them (seriously, scammers claiming to be the "IRS" will ask you to pay them with an iTunes gift card 🙄).

But, unless you have some reason to believe your sister would lie to you about that, I would investigate that possibility. Either ask if you can sign into her account or sign up yourself to see if you can find him on there. Could she send you screen shots?

Cat fish do like getting people to buy them high dollar gift cards. If your sister caught him on a dating app, you need to have a sit down with him. Over seas cat fishers will sell the gift cards in their country for a higher price in their countries currency.
