I wouldn't care. Because they owed me nothing before they owed me nothing now.
Side note: we had a family in my sisters town win over 200million in the Powerball. Well months beforehand their kid broke an icemaker of my sisters. So jokingly when i found out i said "so did you give them a bill for it" she laughingly said back " i should shouldn't i". But that's the thing when you win the lottery you have either a 1000 new friends or a thousand people telling you you owe them for some reason. And their attitude is "you can afford it"!
All jokes and what have you aside i've never met them personally. But i've been told by my sister they are the nicest people. And they have done a lot to give back to the town

I would be happy for them. Because they will be broke in a few years anyway.  According to the National Endowment for Financial Education, about 70 percent of people who win a lottery or receive a large windfall  .

Only a fake person would “feel sorry” after treating you terribly if money was involved. Because that’s probably all they’d care about. If they don’t feel bad without that happening, they still wouldn’t if it did. They’d only change behavior to probably try to use you. If someone was shitty to me and then won, I wouldn’t care. I don’t want anything from someone who didn’t even have the human decency to treat me well. Also, I would never be abusive to someone, but if I was, I’d deserve the karma and that person would deserve the luck.

I'd think life has a cruel sense of humor.
Would I be salty? Absolutely. Not so much the fact they won the money, but how someone so rotten can have good luck! While there are genuinely nice people struggling to live paycheck to paycheck.

I'm happy when I see someone that's been struggling to get by, or is a good person win the lottery- it's like karma finally rewarded them!

But life doesn't always work like that... unfortunately.

If I treated somebody horribly did I must have been pretty well pissed off I can usually make my point without treating anybody horribly and anybody that knows me also knows it Fair and knows I probably had a good reason because I just don't jump on anybody for anything and then it takes quite a bit for me to even jump But to answer your question I wouldn't really care because it's their money and the odds would be they owe me money anyway and I still want to see it LOL

If I treated someone horribly, there must have been a good reason. They must have done something to deserve it.
It would mean that we're not friends and I don't respect them.
If they won the lottery, it wouldn't make a difference since I wouldn't have expected them to share it with me either way.

I would not give a damn. If I treated them horribly it would be because they are a terrible, evil person. Whether or not they won the lottery would not change that. I would not want favors from a person like that because they would probably lord it over me.

If I treated somebody terribly, I would feel horrible the next day anyway because I am a good and decent person. If they abused their partner, then I wouldn’t care that they won the lottery, other than my concern for how badly they would treat other’s now that they have actual power!
