If I hired a nanny it would look like debt to income for children to adults but accelerated. Right now my problem is I need something that pays high enough for daycare, or the job isn't worth my time. With a nanny as opposed to daycare I can open up the globe as opposed to my region for possibilities.
Give me a year, and an area that needs or wants clean water, I'll have them set up. Drugs with QA/QC, a rebellion put down, whatever needs to be done, if I could set up knowing I can live as someone else and my family is taken care of, that would change the game.
Are you saying you want a nanny that works daycare hours?
No, live in, while I love my wife tremendously, she is terrible with patience or empathy. Both of which are needed to, you know, be good parents. Even if you have to spank an ass, you have to explain why to keep them from fucking up the same way later, not just spank them and walk away. She's slowly learning the empathy part, that is a learned behavior, but patience is not. You have that or you don't.
I can't leave here, when I was working out of state for a hot minute it got ugly fast. We all have our strengths and weaknesses, my weakness is bureaucracy, hers is when there isn't a plan. My strength is chaotic situations, and you can't bring a family into those, or leave your family be if everything's going to fall to shit within a month of being gone. Lots of cracks to exploit and profit from during chaos, on the same token lots of chances to get hurt or die.
If I know my family's fine, I can just get some old friends together and go exploit those situations. Nothing's as simple as going from A to B though.
I picked A. My wife is a decent cook, but I'd love to have someone around to make gourmet food, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
My wife and I already have a maid come in once every two weeks for 3 hours each time. $100 per month. She's well worth it.
Wow $100 isn't bad at all. I thought maids were expensive
I would not hire a maid if I'm married because I'm not having another woman in my house. I wouldn't hire any of them anyway because I'm very anal about my living space and have fears of people stealing or going through my stuff. Also, I prefer cleaning stuff myself. Also, a chef can poison you loll.
Yea i forgot about the chef poisoning me. But i def want the chauffeur. And yea maids are a heck no
Having a person clean the house is a godsend... It isn't just about a clean space, it is about an opportunity to spend that time with family or in hobbies. The prejudice about theft is absurd - hard working service professionals are honest because their business is almost all word-of-mouth. Stop being racist/classist.
I’d hire a maid. I don’t have any kids so need for a nanny. I actually LOVE cooking so need for a chef. I love decorating (it depends) but I love keeping a clean house and even enjoy doing certain chores but it’s a pain sometimes when I’m extremely busy so a maid would be perfect.
What if the maid tries to hit on your man lol
Hahaha. I wouldn’t hire some young, hot maid. I would hire an old lady or maybe one of his relatives who’s looking for a side hustle or something.
Lol smart

For practical reasons - me being a new amputee & recovering from 12 months of hell and my wife being self employed - we have a nanny to help me with our son and a maid (I prefer the title "domestic assistance" because it feels less like she's a servant) so we can stay on top of the housework. We have a gardener as well, at least until I'm back on my feet again.
Oh nice
I'd hire a chef. It would be nice to be able to live life and not think about preparing food.
Not interested in a nanny, I want to be able to bring up my own children and make good memories with them by myself. I plan on working part-time from home when I have kids.
... until they're old enough to be in school
Yea i’d only consider a nanny for the first year when the baby cries a lot. But i def want to raise them my own way when theyre 2+
I’d hire a maid because it’s really difficult for me to keep things clean for longer than a week and I do it because I have to, not because I want to. I’d gladly pay someone to help me maintain my apartment or house.
I feel you on that
Currently looking to hire a maid / cleaner.
as I hate housework and forget shopping etc.
they also need to be able to cook, make decent coffee, ironing is a bonus,
Damg you hate shoppin
@DizzyDesii no I don’t hate shopping but when I go food shopping I invariable forget some thing lol
They're all too expensive right now, but if I ever get the means to, I'll hire a maid. My husband and I both hate cleaning so if we could have someone do that for us that'd be life changing 😂
I wonder how expensive they get
I would love to have a chauffeur drive me around to my clients
Wow i love your hair
I am a professional passenger. I’ve had my license since I was 17 and I’ve never cared to drive. I’ll take the chauffeur.
Lmao sounds like me 😂
If I had a mansion I’d hire a bunch of maids and a few butlers, maybe a chef, some body guards for my wife but that’s it.
Sounds nice. You said “but thats it” as if thats not a lot 🤣
If I had the money I would hire someone to at least cook for me, but hey, a butler who could cook, clean and such... wouldn't mind that at all.
Yep i told people the butler does it all
Exactly. Dream is to be able to afford it 😅
Someone who does food or cleaning duties. That's all I need. So logical step would be to get a butler and just reduce him to those two things and let him chill otherwise.
Yep cause they do both
I've hired a maid for daily household chores and have had hired a cook/ chef and plan to hire again sometime later.
Oooo a chef sounds amazing
I have a cleaning lady, it's absolutely glorious. I hate cleaning my place and she does better than I would.
Haha
Personal driver. I hate driving. Idc how much it cost.
I've been saying the same forever. I really wanna buy a nice tahoe for them to drive me around in lol
Yess I would love that too
My parents hired a maid. It was fine. When I got out on my own I realized that I didn't need a maid. It's not fun to clean but it's more fun than paying someone to do what I can.
you're right
If I cud it's because I don't have a car yet. And a chauffeur would be awesome.
I want to buy a car just for the chauffeur to drive me around in 🤣
Gardening Service regularly comes on Fridays.
Maid Service regularly comes on Thursdays.
Oh i see
I would pay someone to clean the apartment every other week.
Whats the most you’d pay
I voted nanny because some new borns require 18-24 hours of care and not all mothers can do it.
Yea i may ask for help so i can get more sleep but once the kid is like 2 years old, i definitely dont want a nanny.
Chef to make me food cause I barely know anything past fried eggs, and a maid to clean up after me cause being honest here I am not the cleanest person alive lol...
Lmao my cooking sucks too
I burnt my ramen noodles by forgetting to put water in the bowl 😂
Well I kinda want a massage right now but since that's not one of the options I chose chef. to make healthy food for me so i will force myself to eat it.
Lol i shouldve added masseuse
