Hot girl summer to me is having a good summer, living your best life with friends without being in a relationship & having it hold you back from enjoying yourself the way you want.

To others it might be about enjoying yourself in general but also sleeping around with men.

Part 2 of question: I asked a guy if he wanted to go to the beach with me this summer because that was our thing to do last summer. Even mentioned my other friends being there. He asked "aren't you having a hot girl summer?". Where in your mind do those go together? I asked him what him and I going to the beach have to do with me having a hot girl summer but he didn't answer.

I don't see a correlation. Just hanging out together as beach buddies and me enjoying myself this whole summer. 🤔
