We care about looks and sometimes too much. Usually the older the guy is the less concerned about looks we are. But also caring about looks does not mean a girl has to look like a glamourous supermodel or movie star. For example, a smile can turn an otherwise 3 into a 7 or 8. If a girl grows her hair really long and takes care of it that can definitely make up for an otherwise plain or even slightly unattractive face. Also, the shape of a face is more important than whether it has blemishes, a wart or moles or even a couple of scars. Most females can achieve a nice level of pretty features in their face if they are not excessively overweight. Also a mistake a lot of girls make is using excessive make-up thinking that they can paint a pretty face onto the one they have. The best make-up looks like you aren't wearing any.

That's over simplified. Men are most certainly attracted to good looking women. They just don't limit themselves to good looking women. If they find someone they like and want to be with, the looks are secondary.

There is also a BIG difference between men and women when it comes to "making the move". Men will approach most women. The reverse is not true. Most women will not approach men unless the man is very good looking. If the man is not really good looking, most women will just wait for the guy to make the move.

Unfortunately that's false. Men, well women too, are superficial creatures by nature. Of course they judge us based on our looks! Which for those of us that are not blessed in the looks department, can make dating difficult.

There are people that do care about personality, intelligence, and other factors when judging females, but usually they're going to primarily focus on your looks.

The good guys I know say a girl does not have to be a model, she just hads to be attractive enough that he is able to sleep with her and get her pregnant. The guys I know who expect super models are never loyal.

There needs to be at least some physical attraction for us to ever want to be with you sexually.

The deal is is that everyone is attracted to different things, and most of us are turned on ba all kinds of girls, big or small.

And we don't need everything. It could be just one thing that we love about you. Maybe you don't think you look that great, but you've got nice boobs or a gorgeous smile, or eyes that can just grab you from across a room.

No matter what you look like I can almost promise you that someone will think you're the most beautiful and sexy thing he's ever seen.

Most do. Like 98%. With me mostly been in that 2%. Personality > Looks.
But also if your talking about cosmetic ways to look better, there is things women find important that really ain't. Like tanning is a big example of what most guys for sure don't care about. Make up is often a big factor of girls thinking they need more than they do.
