What's the best compliment you've ever received?

1. "I wish you were my father."

This was said to me by a young lady who used to be a member here but other young ladies here have said similar things to me.

2. "Because I already knew the answer."

This is a long story but it is about my exGF who never asked me a question that she asked her other past BFs. That question was "What would you do if I got pregnant?"
I asked her "How come you never asked me that question before?" It's because she knew the answer - that I was madly in love with her and would be there for her no matter what.

3. "Why aren't you married?"
4. "Why isn't every guy like you?"

These last two come from a friend of mine from college in the 1980s. She asserted that every guy should be like me and was jokingly astonished that I was such a good catch that she would have expected me to be married already.

Weirdly, I have gotten more compliments from straight men than any other group. I was in the gym and was a gym rat, still am, but this guy started asking me for advice. So I started talking to him about various things, but then I asked him, what do you want, what is your goal? He thought for a moment and then he said, "I want to look like you." I was stunned and embarrassed, a male managed to make me blush.
Anyway, somebody telling me, they want to look like me, is by far the biggest compliment I have ever received.

Well, I'm not a talkative person, so every time there's a silence when I'm with someone I worry I'm boring, or that they feel like I don't like them or don't enjoy their company.
One time, a friend and I walked in silence for some time, and I started worrying. Some days later he told me "You know, when we were in silence, it wasn't uncomfortable, I didn't feel like I was alone. You have a way to make people feel accompanied even without saying a word".
And to this day is the best compliment I've ever received.

It's one from a long time ago. A past friend once seemed upset.
So i asked if there was something wrong, at first they said no.
But i didn't believe it, so i asked if they were shure, wich they then agreed on not being ok. Following up whith something along the lines of "you know you are really good at seeing trough people or good at noticing one being upset" I'm not shure what they said cuz of how long ago it was, but it stuck.

Can't really recall any compliments but what really stuck with me was when i had been doing parkour for 4 years and was best of my country.

I was doing a really tall wallrun, about 4 times my height, when an older dude saw me do it, he happily yelled out "Spiderman!", like a kid.
