+1 yI have never had a dog but in my opinion they are too much of a liability risk. There are many breeds that you can not own in certain communities. There are some insurance companies who will not insure your home if you have any dogs on this list. Too much of a chance that you can be sued or your dog gets out and nips a child, then you are screwed. Not to mention they are like children.

+1 yI've been... Kind of scared of dogs for a big part of my life. Mostly because of some unlucky experiences and a lack of contact with dogs in general.
I'm much better with dogs now, though I wouldn't be comfortable with a big dog jumping up on me, barking at me, and stuff like that.
And yet, I would prefer to have a big dog should I ever have one.29 Reply- +1 y

@Little_Bumblebee that totally makes sense! They tend to be really hard to take care of too depending on your job and home life. I kind of want to start looking for a job where I can work from home so that I can get a dog.
- +1 y
@Made4sex Yeah, exactly! And I don't want to have an unhappy dog or not be able to take care of it properly. Also, I love the thought of a really well-behaved dog that follows commands, and that shit is either very hard or you have to be very good with dogs. Wouldn't be able to pull that off by myself.
Sounds like a very good idea with the job and home life. What kind of dog do you have in mind? I saw you mentioned something big. - +1 y
I feel the same way! My brother and I used to live together while I was in collage and he was always working so I took care of his dog for him half of the time and she was always crazy full of energy as a pup. It was awful!
But if I can get a dog I actually love muts and would try to find something between a shepherd, lab and a lab. I have also gotten to love pit bulls over the years and if I could get a pup and train it myself I think I could live with a mut with pit in it. - +1 y
@Made4sex Ah that's really cute. Hope you get that
- +1 y
@Little_Bumblebee thanks!! Only time will tell! But I have found that muts tend to be so much smarter then pure breads so you literally feel like you can have a talk with them. At least the dogs I have had in the past. They were so cute!

I love large dogs like Golden Retrievers but they require much attention.

+1 yI voted Finley , is he a Groendaal Belgian Shepherd? Now a go to police breed. Finley and larger breeds for me , grew up with Dobermans , Labradors & handled a Rottweiler Military Working Dog in my British Army service , my beloved Rocky. Was upset when I got posted to another unit & role , missed Rocky.
11 Reply 1.1K opinions shared on Other topic. I love my big dog. I grew up with big dogs too. We’re not a small dog family lol
31 ReplyProbably a larger dog, but 9 times out of 10, I'd pick a German Shepherd. Definitely not a husky, though. Their above-average intelligence means that they are prone to being stubborn.
Ironically, I'm a cat person. Yes, I'm a black man who likes cats.10 Reply- 1.5K opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yI want one Finley please.
Generally speaking I like medium or very large breed dogs. My current dog is about 120lbs14 Reply- +1 y
Sounds like a real Fintröll!
1.6K opinions shared on Other topic. Neither. I’m not a dog person. I prefer cats. And at the moment I’m actually not interested in having a pet at all.
30 ReplyFinleyyy and Large dogs. Chihuahuas barking so loud& unexpected for their size is super annoying.
27 Reply- +1 y
Chihuahua's are best watch dog. Thieves hate them worse than any other dog. They will stay on him the whole time. They can trick bigger more stupid dogs into rooms. You can't fool a chihuahua. You can't bribe a chihuahua. Besides my Chihuahua backed down Pit bulls. Only two dogs ever didn't. One street rescue dog and one German Shepard.
Large dogs. I like Saint Bernards, Newfoundland dogs, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Caucasian Shepherds, and wolves among others.
12 Reply- +1 y
Wolf hounds are cool too
- +1 y
They are yes. I should also add Golden Retrievers, Dobermans, and Great Danes.
i have owned all size dogs in my lifetime. i lke all though right now i have a westie terrier he is a lot of fun and not much of a barker in the 7 years i have had him but he has been an irreplaceable friend
10 ReplyI got a small one, technically it's my parents, but i would get a small one when the time comes

+1 yI'm disposed to female Corgis, short-haired Daushunds or mini-Dobermans.
I've mostly had affectionate cats and ferrets~21 Reply- +1 y
I love ferrets , and miss my girls.
I'm more of a cat person to be honest but I think i'd prefer a decent sized dog than a yappy little one
30 Reply2.8K opinions shared on Other topic. I like big dogs but consider their big shit that need helping them to clean.
I may choose small dog in reality10 Reply13K opinions shared on Other topic. I had a Golden Retriever when I was a kid. He was the best. I have heard that when you die every pet you ever had will be waiting in Heaven for you. I really hope that is true.

+1 yAwww Finley lol. But I voted small because they could live a longer time
11 Reply3.7K opinions shared on Other topic. Both i like the small french bulldogs and i like Mastiff breeds big dogs
13 ReplySmall dogs aren’t dogs.
I would like to kill all small dogs.
They’re annoying, wimpy, and do not look like a wolf. Additionally I would like to exterminate all dogs that were bred for human pleasure. Eg. pugs. They have breathing issues and I would love to exterminate them all as they are not a predator in any form of the word.00 ReplyI'm always going to be a cat person, but if I did own a dog it would be a large dog like a German Shepherd
10 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Other topic. When you're younger, biy dog.
When you're a little older, little dog.
When you're retired, no more pets.
That's been my plan, greedy whiny spoiled kids are fucking up my plan.
So much hair and poop...😭😭😭😭😭03 Reply2.4K opinions shared on Other topic. My cousin has the perfect dog but I don't know what kind it is - some mix of an Australian sheep dog, I think.
It probably qualifies as large, though.00 Reply
+1 yIm not a dog person so id get the smaller one. I think the smell would be as pungent. I've cleaned out too many properties that got ruined by dogs.

+1 yGolden retriever
20 ReplyLarge dog. Most small dogs have that 'Napoleon' complex where they feel like they need to start a fight.

+1 yI'd rather have a large or medium dog. But of course I voted Finley
05 Reply- +1 y
Yup!
- +1 y
Nope. My family used to have dogs. Two lovely pitbulls Rocky and Roxy
+1 yYou might as well get a cat instead of a small dog. Small dogs are way off the evolutionary trail because of inbreeding.
+1 yMedium sized (8 to 12kg). Something like a Jack Russells.
10 Reply3.3K opinions shared on Other topic. 40-80 lbs. Anything bigger is too big. Anything smaller is coyote bait where I live.
10 ReplyI couldn’t have that small of a day. But pretty much anything considered big would work! Lol!
11 Reply- +1 y
Lol! *Dog… I meant dog… haha!
Also I was referring to the chihuahua…
I want something more lab-shepherd mix or like a pit-lab mix. My brother has a pit-lab and he is the best dog! My brother has five kids and the dog has been so good with them. And he literally obayes my brother to the letter.
I'm a big dog girl, love Saturday morning snuggles between my guy and his dog.

Can we choose Finley and get you as a bonus?00 Reply
+1 yBecause I damn man! What I look like with a small ass dog the size of a cat? Gimmie me a Cane Corso, a Rottweiler, or similar.
00 ReplyI like each kind of dogs, i am not biased when it comes to pets.
20 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Other topic. Your "large" photo looks like my old dog 😍
I'd really love a giant breed like an Irish Wolfhound or a Great Dane02 Reply- +1 y
Even on my prosthetic I can lift 100lbs+ fairly easily (I'm over 220lbs myself & the crutches etc have built up my arms & shoulders significantly) so I'm not too stressed about lifting them. It's the sheer intimidation factor of a beautiful dog that size I love.
There was a guy in the town I lived in had a pair waist high on me at the shoulder. Stunning hounds & magnificent when he let them run loose running!
Do you brush Finley’s teeth?
He has dazzling teeth.02 Reply
+1 yI'd go with large except it's another worry and mouth to feed, so no dogs

I didn’t say any names just calling dog lovers stupid. A name would be different like calling them losers or something.
