Small. I find big dogs tend to be independent, small affectionate.
My favorite dog was a male Chihuahua with a superiority complex. He would act kind of tough and like a king with a "tough guy" act (a little bit spoiled) when I took him on a walk.
If the big dog came close, he would immediately start clawing at my leg while standing on two feet, wanting to be held. I'd hold him until the big dog disappeared, at which point he'd want to be let down again.
It kind of unlocks those instincts of holding a child. It's hard not to fall in love.
Quick Oekaki doodle of my Chihuahua. He died some years ago, and I was traumatized as badly as when some of the girlfriends I liked most broke up with me (maybe even loved). I think I loved him a little too much and spoiled him a bit too much -- didn't distinguish him from a real person. I just loved that little guy.

I like bigger dogs more. At least medium-sized and up. The little toy dogs are just too nervous and yippy-yappy (at least a lot of them are). Bigger dogs just seem more down to earth to me. Which is part of why I like dogs so much in the first place.
I like all dogs. My first love was my small dog, and my second love is my big dog.
If I had to pick one to live with in my apartment during graduate school, I would pick a little dog (because they're cheaper to feed) However, if money wasn't an option, I would take my big girl with me and her mom, who is about 20 lbs lighter. <3
I like cuddling big dogs more. But I'm pretty indiscriminate when it comes to adopting them, it's just about pros and cons for that moment, namely, how much money I have to feed them and who I'm sharing an apartment with.
Lol, but I'm a big sucker for feist/chihuahua like dogs and droopy dogs :3

Small! I've always had smaller dogs. I've also been bit by 2 larger dogs in my life and so they kinda freak me out. I still think large dogs are beautiful and some seem sweet. But the energy difference between then comes with size to me, I feel like I can control the small one better.
Plus they are all small and cute nd cuddly and can sit on me without making my legs go numb lol
I love huge dogs! Great Danes, Dobermans, Newfoundlands, bullmastiffs, etc.
I currently have a 50lb beagle mix, just because of apartment restrictions. But her bark makes her sound a lot bigger than she is. I'm thankful for that; makes her sound intimidating!

Big dogs. Any dog under 50lbs is a cat, and cats are pointless.
what about medium sized dogs? that would be the size I prefer.
Big dogs! <3 I like having all that fluff and weight and just having this huge animal love me more than anything, it's so great :)
A dog that someone can steal and put in their purse is not a dog in my opinion.
Aw dogs are so cute as puppies, but I like it better when they're bigger. So they can protect me and ya know keep my house save.
Big ones hurt if they try to jump on you. So I tend to like smaller ones more.
Bigger dogs. Not a fan of small dogs. Like most animals, go big or go home.
I love dogs of all sizes, but I hate the ones that looks like rags and mops. I always cringe whenever I see these ugly dogs.

Big dogs. I'm not into small dogs at all. Ron Swanson put this so eloquently:
https://youtu.be/H8KXWL4al-g Never had a dog, but I would love to have a medium sized dog one day.
Small dogs tend to be more of drama queens. Big dogs all day.
Medium to big dogs. Not a huge fan of those ankle biters.
I prefer bigger dogs, like german sheppard, husky, labrador, etc. Not sure why haha, smaller dogs can also be cute, but dont feel as connected to them as with the big ones :D
I'd say I like smaller dogs more, because they're cuddly and more easy to manage.
Big dogs are only fun if they're
A not labradors/goldens
B if you're actually activeA proper woof is better than a little toy dog making.. what resembles a woof, but isn't quite one.
A well trained big dog, who "behaves" can be a joy to be around :D
Especially a golden retriever, those are my favourites :DDo cats count as small dogs?
Big dogs, I think littler dogs are cruelty to animals.
small dogs r like me, all bark no bite
