Do you prefer big or small dogs?

Question

I'm more of a big dog fan although every dog is a good dog :)  (Also yes please feel free to include any pictures of your dogs in the comments)

Small dogs for me so they don’t try to kick your ass out of bed when you are sleeping. As for me I like the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel like you see in this photo above & this one is a tricolor one & they also come in other colors as well as seen below.

I prefer no dogs. One of my top fears is of dogs so I stay away from them. The only exception I have is for my friend's dog, Kodi. And it took me months to even be comfortable with this.

Big doggos. They feel very warm in winter and a good companion when I'm having a hard time or watching a movie. They also seem more intimidating at night so it's safer for me walking them at night. Also, recently some people have grabbed small dogs and wanted to steal them in my area. They can't carry a big ol' 37 kg doggo.

i like both , depending on what breeds. but i'd never adopt a big dog, i just really really love my dog so much that i wouldn't be able to discipline it properly. with big dogs, discipline is crucial. so yeah... unfortunately i can only adopt a small dog since i just wouldn't be good at disciplining.

disclaimer: I am 72, male, and have ALWAYS had a dog... small and large, so I might be Biased... They all have slept in my bed with me... Big dogs hog the covers, small dogs get "rolled over on"... and possibly hurt, so I prefer a Big Dog, even if I have to fight for the blankets

Being very general, I'd say that I like big dogs better. We raised Saint Bernards when I was growing up and my sister has had several since then. But I also love Shih Tzus and have one.

My truest companion was a tiny little angry junkyard dog with mange and my current dog is a large German shepherd who I’m getting used to. I guess it doesn’t really matter they’ll all be good friends if you let them.
