"Life is short". Is it? If you had to choose your age when you die, what would it be?

It depends on how successful I will become. If successful, I'll die between 90 and 100 (probably 100, since it'll be the future and I'll be rich enough to afford great health and live to be a Centennial.) If life continues as it is now though, I wouldn't mind dying at 40, which would be 2026.
I do agree life is short, though. How TF am I about to be 35 next month? I still feel like I'm 24. Like, I play Pokemon and like internet memes and everything. I imagine 34 is like, you paid off your mortgage, have two kids, and look like Dad Marty McFly in Back To The Future 2 when he was in 2015 and wearing a double tie. THAT'S what I always pictured 34 to be like. I get along more with Zoomers than I do Millennials (but that's maybe because Millennials are literally the worst generation in human history). At least not all Zoomers are idiots.
For some people, life is short, and for some it is long, but none of us know how much longer we have, so we must live our lives as if they are short.
If I could stay healthy and my mind was clear and sharp, I would like to live at least to the age of 147.
Thanks for MHO!
Old of course. In Iceland when you put old people on iceburgs and let them float off to die do they have a say or are they forced
😂
I don't know if you are referring to when we put old people on retirement homes and "forget" them there to die, while in some other countries family members live together until the death takes them.
No I heard in Iceland when people get old they're put in an comfy chair on a ice burg and allowed to float off.
Ohh, I thought so.
I can always expecting a really something interesting and different options from you. 😂
@exitseven
There will be some other place for them I guess.
COVID in Iceland isn't a big deal anymore in my opinion. (33 people died)
Old people are getting 3 vaccines for even more protection.
@Icelandguy Unfortunately that other place for them ended up being the cemetery. Glad Iceland i doing so well. It is still alive and kicking here.
Someone said "life is short, until it's not", and I think that really sums it up.
And I would say eighty-something.
That is really good note!
Eighty-something okay, even though you're still healthy? Do you think people who choose this age are afraid to choose to live longer beforehand if their live will become hard to withstand?

How do you expect to live for a long time in your country since it's ruled by women 😂😂
I read somewhere that more than half of the parliement members are women 🤣
Aren't you ashamed guys there that men who are in position are just a few...
Iceland and new zealand are becoming like each other... the feminists are doing a great job there in killing men 😏
♀️⚖️⚖️⚖️♂️
I never vote by the way.
And I have rarely opinions about this things and other things.
Youngest Member of Parliament now is not even become 22 and is female.
Too bad, i'm not saying that women shouldn't be allowed to be in such positions but i'm just wondering where the men are, i might swallow the news if they were 50/50 but women more then men in such positions, WHAT A DISGRACE!
By the way i don't support giving the right to a woman to rule a country...
If men were the ones taking the majority of the seats, the feminists worldwide will go mad and shout about gender inequality but when they become the majority and less men are in position they promote it everywhere and are proud of it, yet they shout that they want equality, CLOWNS 🤣🤣
Ideally around 42-52. Young enough to leave a pretty corpse and for everyone to go "he's so young, he died in the prime of his life, he should've been here longer" but also old enough to have experienced what I consider to be more than enough and hopefully die having only loved one woman my entire life after waiting 24+ years for her. I've experienced losing someone you love at a very young age and don't intend to do that again so, call it cowardly, but I'd like to be outlived by my spouse.
Having had to put my mother in to a care home against her will, then for me it’s not actually the age part, it’s the mental part.
The moment I have issues such as Alzheimer’s then that the time.
😢 hoping she will like the new place with time. Changes can be hard.
Around 64 is the age at which I want to go. I don't want to live to be 70, or 80, or 110. Can you imagine how dysfunctional the world will be in about 50 years time? Forget it.
I imagine everything will be more and more automatic so people aren't needed doing functional things.
Imagine how many don't choose to live longer than usual number, but elderly people don't kill themselves any way? Forget it.
I find life rather being too long.
If I would have died in my mid or early 50's: I wouldn't need to look at the world wide shit-story that my (our) successors are running now... and I still had time to do and see all that was on my 'wishing list'.
I'd be ok with another 10 years - that'll be my late 60's.
After that it's: kiss me where I'm beautiful.
500 years old. I want to see what happens in the upcoming centuries
I would like to live past 100 just to see what the future will be like. I know somebody whose father lived to be 102. I told her that I thought it was cool and she told me that they did him no favors having him live so long.
No, it can just feel like it is. It's a matter of perception.
But to the other question, 70 tops. I don't want to live long enough to get dementia or be unable to live as i please.
They would have fixed that by then lol
Hopefully, I'd live to see a hundred. That's not far-fetched since I have relatives who have passed 100 and are still alive today.
Well I think life is short for some people and long for others. If I could choose I would live until I was 100.
Yes it's short, but it's still long enough to make it meaningful and have a satisfying one,,,
Age? well I'm into the triage of life, three periods of 25 years, but would like to live longer if I was happy and still able to help others,,,
As long as possible and as long as I’m able to move around and at least be some what athletic and where I don’t have to worry about falling down Probably past 100 something
Now. Old enough to have experienced some stuff and young enough for people to to still pity my loss
No life is really long. If I had to choose the age when I die it would be 103-105
I guess I'd be 80, maybe. I want to live a bit in all stages.
Life in the future will not be short because of the constant medical advances. And i would choose a billion years old maybe more or less depending on how i feel then
I figure by the time I'm 90 I'll be so decrepit I won't care anymore. Also the world will probably have gone full Mad Max by then and who wants to live through that?
Provided that I had a high quality of life... 2 trillion years should be enough.
Age 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 sounds okay to me.
Too short to enjoy.
Too long to suffer.
For me? Not long, not short.
Given the choice I'd end it with a miscarriage before birth. All problems solved.
I’d want to live forever as long as I could continue having offspring into infinite generations.
A 100 is a nice even number if I’m still healthy and walking on my own
Depends on when I start suffering. If I'm still energetic at the age of 100, i'd still wanna live.
Idc when i die but when i do i want to be cremated and thrown in a volcano
100 and More. lol!!! xxoo
My wife choice her date amd i had to legal take food and water away
Na it's the mystery that keeps it fun
25
Not a day more
Well I'd chose 25
I was so hoping I wouldn't get low numbers. I hope you will change your mind, and get healthier somehow.
No thanks
70 years old
100 would it be a bad choice
lol I would have died at 15
Fifteen? Why?
@Rachelspiks Because my life was shitty and I was being abused. I felt like a I had not bodily autonomy or control in any aspect of my life.
So sorry to hear that :'( <3
Are things much better now?
@Rachelspiks yeah.. most of the time
Good :)
35 is the age I die at
I hope that's not true.
Unless some miracle happens, it is in fact when I die.
I’d pick three months
I would like to do so right now.
Either now or +1,000.
Next Wednesday.
80..
I'll say 90.
120 years
Any time
17 is long enough
