My brother 13th birthday is coming up I don’t know what to do for it?

Finally a question that does not relate to boy trouble. My brother is turning 13 this year he has global development and autism so he really can’t stand being around loud noise as it upsets me..

I have been trying to plan a party for him with his friends as he’s never had a birthday with his friends but the thing is when ever I did that lockdown always happened so I want to make it special for him.

The only thing is I don’t really know what to do for it I asked my brother myself and he said he wants a party with his friends in the house. He only has 5 friends plus him that’s 6 all together but with the children I want one parent or sibling to come as all the kids have special needs. He really does wants a sonic theme but I wanted to see if I can hire a small bouncy castle as well and obviously I work as a party host anyways so I was thinking to do the decorations myself.

As for the cake I wanted to do like cupcakes with the sonic toppers you get off amazon it’s better then getting one big cake and having it wasted…. We will have OG party games because he likes that but I don’t know if it’s too babyish. I got the bouncy castle idea of a YouTube channel where the girl did her sweet 16 and hired a bouncy castle slide for it..

what do you all think should I just go for the idea and make it a surprise for him or should I change it all….

Wow, that all sounds great. I think he’ll be really happy and touched with the party you help put on for him and his friends.

Oh, since he wanted to do a Sonic themed party, maybe be sure that the video game system is set up for all of them to play Sonic, or maybe purchase him a new Sonic game he doesn’t have yet.

Also, even though these are his friends, will these kids be able to get along with each other okay? You mentioned they were all special needs. Parents are definitely a good idea.

On a side note, I’m really touched with your selflessness and generosity with your brother.

Yeah the thing is his friends are in the same class as him and there will only be 5 of them but that’s why I have made a special note letting them parents know to have one parent or older sibling to be vacant to come with them incase sometninf does happen but I have also told the parents on the invite to let me know about any dietary requirements and allergies

My brother loves the OG parties with games and things he dosent really like places with loud music. It upsets him you will see him in the corner trying to cover his ears and block out the sounds that’s why I wanted it to be at home instead food wise I wanted to do a lunchbox like they all get pizza and sandwhiches but like in lunch bags if that makes any sense so they can have a picnic outside less mess indoors

wow those are really BAD ideas like really BAD ideas. Find out what he's into what he likes. then set up a party around that. does he like superheros like marvel or dc does he like women with big knockers? does he like any particular video games? plan the party around his likes not some bouncy castle or whatever else you had on planning

It’s just I was wanting something more or less not too stressful I would have taken them to a indoor trampoline park but my brother would get upset very quickly hed start to have a fit cause he hates loud music he’s okay with led lights but they can’t be too strong either

Thank you I wanted to do something big for him so I was thinking of a summer party with music and party games and disco he also has a small disco ball he could do that outside or in but I’m not sure about the bouncy castle cause it’s a lot of money to hire for a day
