I’m mixed race, but people always comment on what I “look like”?

I’m half African from my mother’s side and half Spanish. Anyway it’s really weird my family always debate on whether I “look” black or not, like it matters. They always say “she doesn’t even look that black. She looks a bit black.” Even strangers say it to me if someone tells them I’m half black. Like why need to comment on what I “look like”? Why does it matter? Why do people need to comment on it all the time? It’s what I am. I am half and half.

Who knows, people are just nosy fucks. If you get tired of answering the question and hearing their comments don't tell them that you are half. It's really none of their business
