Am I only the one that hates faking loving animals?

I feel at times when people post their pics of loving animals or kids they re trying to fake that they are good person rather than being a n actual good person. (It includes me too posting pics with animals )

This... is a little disturbing to be honest. Please don't think I'm trying to be an asshole here. I'm not. But this question did disturb me a bit.

I guess it's because, I love animals. Not like "I'm one of those animal lovers". Just like I had pets growing up, and enjoy petting a dog, if it's a friendly one. But the love/affection a person feels for an animal is genuine. It's real. People aren't faking it.

I think what disturbs me about it, is the fact that you obviously really, truly do not feel love for animals. At all.

In fact, the very idea that anyone would feel genuine love for animals is so foreign to you... tha the point that you're having trouble believing that people truly do.

That's concerning. It's concerning because a love for animals is something that people have (genuinely) known all over the world, for centuries. The most hard-hearted hate-filled people can often find love for an animal, even if they hate every single human being.

People's love for animals is completely real. Nobody is faking it. Ever. (honestly!)

It's something that... transcends space and time as "inherently human". Someone from 500 years ago in any part of the world would understand why a grown man might weep when his dog dies. It's... something that's universal.

It is extremely concerning that you do not feel it the way everyone else does. I am not going to try and diagnose you. But I will say that this might indicate some mental health issues (maybe not, I'm no doctor). It's something that strikes me as... something I would look into talking to someone about if it were me.

I do hope that someday you're able to enjoy the genuine bond you can feel with an animal. Good luck man 🙂

I think I am actually a good person, but I do love my dog. She's helped me recover from two nervous breakdowns and stopped me from getting several more. She isn't even trained as a support dog. She also loves me because I walk. and feed her every day.

posting pictures is actively attention seeking but most of the time the poster just wants their pet or kid to get that attention

😩Dont see the appeal why they want to get their attention on to them i just find it trying to look good while not being a good person for example politician that loots people does charity to clean their image. yep posting abs and all is a form of artention seeking its my hard work i earned it thats why i flex it😩 .

people like that definitely warrant some distaste, but a pic of an animal doesn't do shit, it's on a whole other level consequence.
