Is It too Late to Report something to the Police?

This is very hard for me to mention. I need help though, because what happened.. in June, is too big, for me to not doing anything about. I pray and that's good, it's just I should have called the police, right away--what this person did... got away with it, basically! I didn't call them, because I thought, I wouldn't be believed. I am so upset and it's messing with my mind constantly and I feel so violated, also.. I keep finding more things out. I am having weird horrible nightmares. I am too smart to Not be around that shit from a person. Something was wrong, though, because I did't get him away from me, even though, I told him to stop with certain things. After sometime soon of this person being at my home, I started to feel really sleepy, and that's just not me. I woke up next morning, and things were different.

You’re allowed to file a report. It may be linked to other crimes that have been committed by the same person and your testimony might be corroborating evidence that they’re looking for.

It's not too late. Different places have different statutes of limitations, but it's never as short as two months. It's usually more like seven years.

If you are inferring you were drugged with something like benzodiazepine then there's not going to be any reliable way to prove it after several months. You only have about a week for that sort of thing, and several days for a rape kit if that is what you are getting at. Police need evidence, not stories.

I mean it's not too late to report, but if you are alluding to sexual assault then it may be too late to collect the DNA evidence that is needed.

Get counseling and talk it out. They can advise you about pressing charges.

Not too late, but unless you have physical evidence of some sort a DA will not likely prosecute. Still the police might question the person and get a confession so it might be worth it.
